I had missed this side conversation until Texcan mentioned it. I have just purchased a DVD called Grammar boot camp and the Professor goes into some of the evolution of English in the time periods you mentioned. I am not very far into the course yet. It is interesting how words and the rules governing grammar keep changing.

The people who stormed the capital were mostly agitators with a few trump supporters. But how can anyone demonize a whole group for the action of only a few. There were thousand of trump supporters there demonstrating peacefully what did they do to warrant such a label. This is communism at its best. Anyone who voted Republican is now concidered a domestic terroist. If the left thinks this is fair something is seriously wrong in this country

After the revolution, the rebels become the conservatives and the conservatives become the rebels.
Thus, we stormed the New Capitol as the previous citizens.
There will be more as Biden's Handlers start to punish Americans in other ways than 9 dollar gasoline.

They think that Joe is a good man who will be fair to everyone and only tax the rich people and the guy standing behind that tree. They think that no president would ever harm America. They think that the media know more than they about everything, so, if the media love Joe, he must be all right. It is interesting.. The natural evolution of language changes because language itself changes. Too simple?? Yes, but fact and also fascinating

Basically I think of it as this.. the natural evolution of language changes with each generation and as such new words are invented and when repeated enough finally makes it into the dictionary as a now approved word (even lingo) so to speak..Along with it comes a definition of description for interpretation and as new words are not shared so readily, linguistically we suffer from it for sometimes many years before acceptance is achieved... I don’t know how valid this is its just my take on it.. I use my generational words as compared to my sons generation..
Sic means not illness but cool, rad, or far out..(note the spelling)
Woke is not I woke this morning it means Im more aware of things, I believe this now , etc..
One good thing, no matter the generation, Love still means what it means to the person..Love an emotional state of pure bliss~~
