Democrats made a big deal of filling the Capitol with the National Guard because they feared another insurrection, they said. I say it was all a big show. Regardless, since they ordered up the National Guard it was their responsibility to make sure those National Guardsmen had the proper facilities for sleeping. Democrats failed miserably and poor President Biden was forced to apologize.
