End of democracy

The Founders of this country hated democracy and did everything they could think of to keep it from developing here. Professor Alexander Fraser Tytler wrote, "A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largesse out of the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that Democracy always collapses over a loose fiscal policy, always to be followed by dictatorship. The average society lasts about 200 years." Alexis de Tocqueville said, "The decline of a democracy begins when the majority discovers it can vote unto itself the wealth of the minority." James Madison wrote, ...democracies have ever been found spectacles of turbulence and contention, have ever been found incompatible with personal security, or the rights of property, and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths." Sam Adams wrote, "Remember, Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy that did not commit suicide." No election in America has ever been legitimate including the recent one, which was thoroughly rigged in advance over a period of a century.

I am a 78 year old retired carpenter who has spent 40 years studying all governments as what they are, organized crime syndicates that achieve their goals by preying on the most oppressed minority in every society, its productive capitalist workers and owners. I developed the first capitalist party in history which I named the Trade Party because trade was the method all members of the party used to achieve their goals. There once was a famous bank robber named Willie Sutton. When he was caught, he was asked, "Why do you rob banks?" He replied,as if that was the stupidest question he had ever been asked, "That's where the money is." And if you ask any democrat, republican or libertarian politician why they rob from capitalists to get their money, their reply is always the same as Willie's. The American political system has never been capitalist. The government sector, usually disguised as the 'public' sector, has always been fascist, while the trade sector, usually called the private sector, has been composed of capitalist businesses and workers. Capitalists produce, fascists steal what they produce. That makes every capitalist a slave. When I realized that I and every productive person around the world was a slave to his government, I thought it was a problem I as a capitalist problem solver could solve.

So, your answer is to let corporate boards govern? Tell me, what capitalist enterprise survives letting it's employees set their own job descriptions, work schedule, salary, HR protocols, and benefits? That's right, none, yet that's the way we the people choose to run our country.

The problem isn't with democratic principles, it's the fact that we don't apply them universally; We have our shot at it every 2, 4 and 6 years, but once the voting is done, our participation ends. The government applies Capitalist principles on it's self, paying it's self first, even when the government shuts down. Government acts as board of directors.........................as though THEY are the majority shareholders in defiance of the Constitution, which clearly gives each citizen an equal share.

And our greatest downfall.

We gave them certain rights and governing as we the people wanted. We failed to remember this and allowed them to become the bureaucratic BS they are at this point. They usurp the citizens and force more power and control in every legal law they write or supreme court ruling that comes out...

Voting every two for six years is not the answer. We have to put them in office and then dog their tail to ensure they do as we want not what they do normally which is cater to the special interest groups lining their pockets while the federal reserve is the one who actually dictates what takes place on a worldwide basis. Money talks always has always will and that’s what runs the world, it’s not these figurehead world leaders that are put in position by those above them.

We need an amendment giving districts the ability to recall reps that sell their votes to a party/lobby/other special interests.

👏🏻👏🏻 I sure support that as well.

That would be done by States constitutional amends or just adding an amendment and while at it deriving an Article V on term limits from The Supreme Court of the United States all the way down to mayor positions. Along with the freestanding independent party not suppressed by the Democrats or Republicans who know if a true independent party was achieved there would be no more Democrats or Republicans! The suppression of an independent party has got to stop and they should enjoy the exact same rights as given in primaries, not just the presidential election..Some states don’t even allow them to vote in the Primaries.

Seems like you may have left something out here. Was that intentional ?
And you are not a slave to your government. You are a slave to the Corporate Greed that now rules our government.
When governments are taken over by corporations it is Called Fascism.
Pure and Simple.
You can blame “the” government but that would be you, wouldn’t it ?
Blaming your self for allowing the takeover of your government by Rich Corporations that are only rich because the
Government (you) made them that way.
Doesn’t seem fair does it ?

What we have here is not the Majority voting itself more monies.
What we have is a minority that has been buying politicians to write laws that will benefit their corporate enterprise.
Koch Brothers comes to mind.
David Koch said “he didn’t want some of it, he wanted it all ! ”

Independent the leans right fiscally but supports certain social programs I believe needed... I also support states over Federal any day of the week.

I would be embarrassed to claim fame to either party presently controlling this country!
