Joe Biden has a long history of short changing retirees.
It started in 1983 when he voted to slap income taxes on 50% of Social Security income, income that had previously been tax-free.
In 1994, he voted to up the amount of Social Security benefits subject to taxation, to 85%.
In 2000, he turned his attention to estate taxes, voting AGAINST the Estate Tax Elimination Act that would have phased out certain estate taxes by 2010.
Now, he wants to raise over $3.3 TRILLION in taxes...
And he’s got his eye on America’s nest eggs…
His plan?
He wants to expand estate taxes and “equalize” benefits across tax brackets.
Now that word “equalize”...
It’s not the same as “fair”...
“Equalize” means some will come out ahead… while others will end up with less.
What will happen to you?
What will you LET happen to you?
Here is what we have let happen, we let the Jews of NY and the radicals of California and an old senile China loving commie from Delaware take over America!

Well...if you are really concerned about social security you better wise up about the assault on social security that kicked into high gear with this administration...you can start by learning how much funding was cut from the system and how many layoffs that caused.

You can start by citing sources for your claim. You made it - you back it up.

Since COLA became a factor in SS, in 1975. only three years saw no COLA raise-2010. 2011, and 2016- Obama years, as I recall. First they said that housing, fuel and food were not factors in figuring cost of living-I wonder what they were smoking when they decided that the only things that actually effect Cost of Living no longer are considered. I think the last excuse was that the cost did not go up......I do not know where these people are buying fuel, or paying property tax or rent, or buying food, but I would like to move to that fairy tale land. And of course Medicare costs continued to rise, but apparently that is not a cost of living, either.
It is the Dems who put in place policies unfriendly to retirees. Remember that Obama wanted military to pay for their own medical care? His excuse? "They knew what they were signing up for" a real patriot he is. Biden is as ignorant about those matters as all of the DC Swamp. He will be receiving his retirement from the taxpayer for life. And so it goes....

I don't waste my time doing the research for ignorant people who don't want to believe facts anyway. I don't have to prove a thing, your ignorance is yours to own.
I've read article after article about the funding and personnel cuts that were taking place

And you do not have the ability to pull up articles on the cuts to social security, you wouldn't begin to know how

So you think backing your insane comments with facts is a 'waste of time'?
Just another excuse that you use (along with a couple of other leftists here on OPP) use.

Well, then, please share with us those articles. Should not be too difficult. It's a waste of time to do research so you have some back up for your claims? Sounds like you are an employee of MSM. They do not believe in research or even just checking for sources, never mind journalistic fact gathering.
