Republicans have filled vacancies on the SCOTUS by following the Constitution and existing laws. Democrats want to change the law and create new positions on the court in order to pack it with extreme liberals.

Actually it is more correct to refer to the people on the Supreme Court as Originalists and Liberals rather than Democrats and Replublicans where the Originalists seem to interpret the law according to the Constitution which is for a Democratic Republic. The Liberals seem to want to re-interpret the Constitution to bring about change. My feelings are "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

The child like temperament of the leftist screwballs have done so much damage to our great republic, it takes a DJT to right the ship, and Make America Great Again 👍

And that's why they hate him and never stop trying to knock him out of the box.

This intrusive non-politician is undoing all their hard work, beginning with the groundwork layed by Obama for the highly unwelcome (at least to the vast majority of Americans) "fundamental transformation" of America.

Originalist like when only the white men had the vote?

It was broke, and luckily the founders provided a mechanism to fix the document. You assume that all the founders agreed on the final product. They did not. They debated the meaning of the Constitution as much as we do today.

Repubs didn't seem inclined to follow the law for Garland though, yeah? Rules, expectations and complaints tend to change, depending on which party holds power.

There have been 27 amendments. The Founding Fathers knew that a built in process for change was required and it has been used to adjust for changes. What we need now is the 28th amendment which includes term limits for Reps. and Sens. and maybe some thought on Supremes as well. Hopefully this would restore some statesmanship to the legislative branch instead of a career of corruption and enrichment for the "elite" class.
