Why not have real debate ? Let two of them just go at it!!! Just give them topic p... Let's say economy..Let President go for 15 minutes and than Biden for 15 minutes.... Than let them cross examine each other for let's say 5 minutes each.... And continue like that for every subject...No more than 4 subjects.... And close with closing statements no more than 10 minutes each! So you don't need moderators , they only make things worse ....

If the left didn’t have moderators then how would they help their chosen? I mean look at the questions given to Joey in advance with some answers on the Teleprompter for him. Or perhaps fed into his ear piece...

You are right about the fact that we’ve not had any true debating we’ve had journalist looking to improve their ratings.

Radiance and I came up with the perfect solution. Trump picks whomever he wants to ask questions to the opposition....whatever he wants to Biden....ie let's say Hannity or Tucker. Biden team picks whomever they want Lemon, Matthews, Reid, Cuomo and that person asks pertinent questions to Trump. You have your representation asking hard questions, questions to whom the voting public hopefully want to hear. Must show respect, show civility. Problem solved.

Very very sad, not one from any of the Networks can be found to moderate fairly.

Real debates have moderators... For a very good reason... How about both candidates follow the rules of debate and demonstrate an appropriate level of respect for each other and the voters

Following the rules and demonstrating an appropriate level of respect for each other and the boaters is certainly a necessity. But you also have to have a moderator who is fair, impartial, and asking questions of both that are relevant to what the citizens want to know rather than rehashing the old. Do you think that’s possible

It is, and strongly suggests the need for a different format.

Perhaps the best format would be similar to the town halls but where both parties are present and the questions come from the audience with a certain amt of time to respond and offer rebuttal.

We really do not need moderators. Let’s bring our debating up to the 21st-century. I mean after all given this virus and all the changes it’s going to make within our entire world perhaps we should start thinking about this for the future..???

Wouldn’t happen the left would never agree to her... She’s a Libertarian which is often thought of as 'right-wing' doctrine.. Plus she’s not really got much stride in her walk although she does have persistence..The parties insure no one but Republican or Dems make it on the ballots, let alone debates..
Although you can still write in the name of the person you really like to have...

Once again a stacked deck:
Kristen Welker, upcoming presidential debate moderator, has deep Democrat ties
In 2012, Welker and her family celebrated Christmas at the White House with the Obamas.
Though Kristen Welker’s party registration is not listed today, she was a registered Democrat in Washington, DC, in 2012 and in Rhode Island in 2004.

When it comes to these "moderators" the mainstream media sends in to help the Biden campaign, I am more and more partial to the slogan "Kill 'em all, and let G-d sort 'em out!"

I'd like to see Laura Ingraham moderating a Biden town hall.

It's more like "bring on the Bolsheviks" than anything we should be seeing in our Constitutional Republic.

In my opinion, all they're doing is allowing Americans to see what we can expect if today's Democrats ever gain control of all three branches of the government, and as somebody or other once said, "it ain't pretty!"

Moderators don't ask question, don't make comments, moderators take questions from voters live. Each can be screened for whom the question is for but the question can not be asked.
