That in itself is funny – Trump branding someone else as a liar.

Moving on, at the senate's Barrett nomination hearing on Wednesday, Lyin Ted Cruz continued the Republican assault on Obamacare, spewing FAKE information.

By the way, Trump has labeled Obamacare a “disaster”.

Can anybody explain to me exactly what is disastrous about Obamacare?

I assume you do not have it, or you would not be asking such a silly question.

Actually, I did have it 5 years ago - for a year.

I was previously covered as a spouse by my wife's employer based group health plan. That employer went out of business, the health plan cancelled, left me up a creek. My wife was age 65, able to enroll in medicare which Does Not take pre existing conditions into account.

I was 64, not eligible for medicare, needed personal coverage for a year. Since I had pre existing conditions, Obamacare enabled me to buy coverage at a standard rate with no exclusions.

Obamacare worked for me EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED.

That's such a pile of garbage, no direct response warranted.

I am glad to hear it, and very glad you got the coverage you needed at a price you could afford. My case was slightly different. I was RIFed from a job and my family and I would have lost our healthcare, but I was able to 'retire' and get ongoing coverage from my former employer....until ACA came along, and any retirees were "shifted' from retiree insurance onto ACA. No choice. At which point our monthly costs tripled and our yearly deductible went from $2000 to over $5000. Total waste of money unless you had a MAJOR hospitalization. From my reading, it seems my case is more typical than yours.

Why should a healthy, unmarried young man pay for abortions, maternity care, mastectomies, uterine infections, ovarian cancer, transgender surgery, and birth control pills?

Why should a healthy, unmarried young woman pay for erectile dysfunction, prostate cancer, male enhancement, abortions, transgender surgery, and Viagra?

Appears to me the employer made a "financial decision" to the detriment of retirees.
As for deductible, didn't you have options?

That's the way insurance works, money is "pooled". Everybody pays something so that the individual doesn't get wiped out by an occurrence. No different than car or home insurance.

Did you ever run up a major medical expense?

Never, unless a heart attack, two strokes and an amputation might cause that, all BTW all paid in full by
insurance.
