This is our present impasse. Utter division, a seismic split, no bridges. Do you have a solution to maintain these united states? It will mean--OMG--compromise, like a Congress of two parties was supposed to be. Don't try and say bye bye to America.

They won’t compromise to wrong assumptions.
The right has No idea what the meaning of compromise is!
Because, they only want to do it their way.

Lol, my whole argument shouted. Wake up or at least listen to what you are saying. This is destroying America, your simpleton stance. Read the title.

Truth to power is fallacy anyway.
Power does not care about whatever truth you are selling.
With them it’s Mind over Matter
They don’t mind
And
You Don’t Matter!

I disagree. They'll compromise as long as the other side agrees to give them 100% of their way, and never challenge anything they want.

In order to maintain these United States there is should be no more compromises to unalienable rights, the bill of rights, freedoms or the constitution as written. Enough damage has already been done to these basic tenants of our country in the name of the collective over the individual. There is no compromise when a party wants to change individual rights to limited rights. There is no compromise when one party's intention is to continue to "fundamentally change" the United States into something else.

How many people/groups currently claim to speak for the country/American people? The problem with our representative republic is, we have allowed ourselves to be locked out of the equation, except at specific times - every 2 years for House of reps, 4 years for president and 6 years for senate. The rest of the time we're expected to do as we're told.

The priority for our representatives goes like this:

Self

my party

people in my party

Everyone else is SOL.

Meanwhile the radical right are busy creating havoc( as purported left wing gets set up to be blamed as per white wing standards)killing people in dtoves with military weapons in Walmart, schools and churches +Wisconsin, to what end just because; they can blame anyone else, why do you suppose that is - parkland anyone, explain that away.
I knew kids and know parents.
Go there now and then as part of the outbreak response team. To the hoax. That isn't.
