THE PENTAGON — The Navy hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH-20) will be routed to New York City to help alleviate non-COVID-19 medical needs, President Donald Trump told reporters on Wednesday.

USNS Mercy (T-AH-19) will be tasked to support the West Coast, though the location is still being decided.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo told reporters on Wednesday morning that Trump had pledged to send the 1,000-bed Navy hospital ship to New York City Harbor.

The Samaritan's Purse OPERATES a vast international medical and supply relief to millions of people around the globe. What do you think the staff of SM is going to do when a patient is admitted? Hit 'em over the head with a Bible just because the staff are Christians or "require most contractors and some full-time volunteers to sign a statement of faith that includes a declaration that “we believe that marriage is exclusively the union of one genetic male and one genetic female.” They reject NO ONE for treatment, including members of the LBGQ community. They treat them with professionalism and a sincere love for the people and the work they do. If the person, regardless of race, color, religion, sexual persuasion rejects what the SP has to offer, that is their choice. So, according to you and Cuomo, due to that profession of faith, it was BETTER for Cuomo to put those patients recovering from covid into the various nursing homes and allow approx. 6000 people to smother to death, in a rather slow and agonizing manner, than to be treated by the bigoted SP staff? What if the staff had been Hindu or Islam? They kind of believe the same thing about gays.. In Moslem countries, gays are thrown off buildings.
The entire medical and nursing community here in the United States would collapse if we Christians all suddenly quit because we didn't want to care for people different from us. I'm a retired ICU nurse and have MANY friends who are Christians and certainly don't agree with this new leftist dogma or religion that states "you have to believe like me and accept abortion on demand and that LGBTQXYZ is normal and the other garbage put out by left wing organizers." It is nearing a rabidly fanatic religion with you people! Even the president of BLM has stated their goals are the destruction of America and the DEATH OF EVERY WHITE PERSON. OK. I'm white. Oh, well, you get my drift.
