Air, All too true unfortunately. I agree that Trump is a sociopath, and as such, has no values, principles, empathy or concern for others, just his own monstrous ego. I am a peaceful man and would never physically, deliberately hurt another human being, but I can't help asking myself, where is Lee Harvey Oswald now that we really need him?

Maybe vote by mail could be a good thing or even an online voting procedure. But you do not completely throw out the old system and expect to implement a new one in a matter of weeks. There have already been a number of problems using it in the primaries this year. California had to throw out over 100,000 ballots. Based on historical records, Pennsylvania estimates that 92,000 voters failed to have their votes counted. The margin of error has been greater than the margin of victory based on historical elections.
Anyone designing a new system works two ways. First you build your shiny new system, then you test it to destruction to find vulnerabilities. Then you go back and either fix it or scrap it and start over.

As I said before, if mail in voting is allowed, Voter ID should be mandatory. You should not have one without the other.
