It was a Friday Special. Lobsters were at a discount. And they were live in this big tank to choose from. I hadn't had lobster in a long time. I was salivating when I saw that tank: fresh! My six year old stopped at the tank. "There's Mr. Claw." "What?" I asked. "And there is his wife Betty," she said. Then she laughed and said, "Look at their two little ones, so cute." And she want on to spin this tale and name every Lobster. She was such a precious and gentile soul, and still is but at fifty. No way I could order a lobster now. I got a T-bone steak instead and delighted in it.

That reminds me of a friend who had a daughter who was 4 years old at the time. They had a major mouse problem and so they put mouse poison in places the child could not get to and started getting rid of the pests. Until, that is, when their daughter brought two dead mice in to her parents and, in tears said "Micky and Minnie Mouse are dead, can we bury them?" After that they had to use have a heart traps and take the mice a long way away to dump, so they wouldn't come back. Kids do change your perspective don't they?

You have to adore their precious innocence; if only we adults could be that way. Thank you, great story.
