Perhaps I missed it but I find it odd no one is discussing this. It seems all the pro-lifers and conservatives seemed to think trump appointed judges would vote a certain way. Imagine that

Imagine this, the rule only applies to miles to a hospital from the butcher's clinic. Supreme Court, in 5-4 ruling, strikes down restrictive Louisiana abortion law, the measure would have required doctors who provide abortions to have admitting privileges at hospitals within 30 miles of a clinic. What this means for the patient, if something goes wrong in an abortion, that patent may not get admitted in the nearest hospital. So, they die in route to a hospital the butcher has privileges, that's fine with me.

Maybe, but it also means the clinics can still operate (no pun intended). Pro-lifers must be besides themselves. It's it true isn't it that pro-lifers only care about life from conception to birth? After that, your on own.

That part of the law, ability to slaughter and dismember the baby and sell their parts to the highest bidder was not in question. True pro-lifers do care about life from conception to death. The one's I don't give a flip about are those murders, rapist, and child molesters. And guess what, a woman who aborts their child for only their convenience is a murderer.

John Roberts was appointed by then president Bush as a Constitutionalist. Well, he's not and continues to disappoint conservatives.

That is a brazen lie! Pro-lifers adopt a LOT of babies and try to provide supportive services through a number of organizations and homes.

Wasting time with that fool. He’s not just a fool. He’s a liar.

That's good you feel that way, it's your right. Others don't & you know what, no one gives a rats axx (behind) about your opinion and for those that make a choice you don't like, to bad. It's their choice, get over it. You & the"pro-lifers" need to mind your own effing business. It's the mothers body, she gets to choose, you don't!

Poor conservatives, pro-lifers (what an oxymoron), & evangelists (probably in both groups), another judge has voted for the law instead of your special interests. Did you feel really slighted? Imagine that, your feeble attempts to pack the court have failed again. But wait, we'll elect the devil as President just so we can have our way.

Regardless, this does not change the part of law which was struck down. It was distance to a hospital in the event something goes wrong and the woman needed a real doctor's help. Sadly, you are so closed minded that you only saw selective words. One other thing, you brought the subject up for discussion, I simply responded. If you can not handle honest opinions, then it is best you do not start threads on those topics.

No, I think I can handle discussion. If I appeared to reply to strongly, I apologize. The discussion of abortion is a touchy one, but one best discussed. I always enjoy reading your replies.

I believe there are times when abortion is a safe and required procedure. I do not think that abortion should be a substitute for birth control. I also believe that a woman who elects an abortion for solid reasons, not just convenience, that procedure should take place in a clinic which is reasonably near a hospital in the event of an emergency. This is for her safety, not because of my views on abortions, but because things can and do go wrong.
