A number of people are looking to purchase a firearm because of many changes in human behavior and threats from thugs out there.
Before you purchase a firearm please do your research and what classes are available for new gun owners
These two organizations are a great place to start.

Nonsense, owning a gun requires no training or skill, just load it with ammo, shove it in your waistband and as soon as you are threatened by bad guys whip it out and blast away. If they were dangerous or required skill to safely operate like say a car, training and a license would be required.

Ignorance is all you have to offer, and you sure do spread it thick.

Why don't you GTFU, man, try adulthood for a while, see if you can handle being a man rather than a punk.

Kevyn certainly should not have a gun. But he should not even have a pocket knife or a squirt gun. On the other hand, I would recommend that he become a rattlesnake handler. Most of them end up bitten a number of times, and never seem to learn any better, He would fit right in.

Satire, wondered if you had that in you. Actually guns are about only as dangerous as cars. An equal number of people are killed by cars as by guns each year. Usually the statistics do not show the number of suicides by car as they do by guns. I really should like to know that as suicide by car involves innocent drivers in the taking of life whereas by guns only involves one person.

Buy a ton of ammo for what ever weapon you decide on and practice, practice, practice. Become proficient with your weapon and never point it at anyone you do not intend to shoot, doing so will get you killed. Mike

There are VERY FEW, I mean DAMNED FEW gun owners who do not know how to handle the guns they own.
People who do not know how to handle firearms tend not to OWN firearms because they
are scared to death of them. People like you.

Amen, but a lot of people who have never owned a weapon before are buying guns and we need to try to teach them to get instructed and practice with their new guns and learn the safe practices when handling a firearm. . Mike

Actually I have seen adults put a loaded gun on a coffee table when their 5 year old is wandering around the room, leave the child in the room and go outside to mow the lawn. Don;t tell me everyone who owns a gun knows how to use and store it safely.
