Trump has NOT eliminated the CoronaVirus Staff that he organized...he only stopped the publication of a CDC outline of recommendations, because he and others felt they were not pertinent! See how you keep confusing facts to make your ridiculous points!

Anyway, President Trump closed travel to China on January 31, 2020 and the media and democrats, including presidential candidate Sleepy Joe Biden, called him a racist. AND, look here, you would have closed the country down on March 6, 2020 because of 14 deaths? Get your lysol mis-information together son because YOU have the story wrong - get the real facts straight so you don't write stuff like this that is so obviously criminally incorrect (that's assuming you use what God provided you with between your ears wisely and in a rational manner). You will find that even if Trump supports 80,000 deaths that if there turns out to be 60,000 or ever 240,000 (as originally projected by Dr. Fauci) you NON-Trump supporters will dump every bite of blame on him as you can - which from where I sit - only proves how unenlightened and prejudice you and people who think like you are.

As far as Trump moving the goal posts, what the hell is he supposed to do - say no Mr. Virus you can't take more (or less) lives than the models we used projected? You may not know this, but a good leader must provide an uplifting and positive demeanor and attitude. Would you have him say - Hey, not only should you be afraid and show it by staying at home, you should be steeped with shame because people are dying, and you are still alive. Maybe you would rather have Trump project the same Mr. Doom and Gloom attitude and demeanor of Gov Cuomo. Even though Cuomo (as a democrat) has some good ideas and his heart and effort are in the right place, watching and listening to that guy is like seeing an old black and white 1930's Lon Chaney horror movie. Come on man, just admit it - no matter how or what Trump says, you will oppose it. That is such shallow thinking. I am a normally a Trump supporter - but I vigorously disagreed with his proclamation that the country needs to stay at home and then signing that stimulus package, but instead thought only for the elderly should (be advised) stay home and tax incentives/breaks be developed in lieu of the $1,200.00 and unemployment benefits raised. My point is, the ill-informed disagree with President Trump just to disagree. He shuts down travel to China and your post indicates that you disagreed with doing that YET complain when there where 14 deaths on March 6 and think he should have done something at that time. However, your post does not indicate or put forth any solutions or ideas of the actions he should have taken. I apologize in advance if this offends, but it leads me to believe you don’t have a clue and there are many more things you have difficulty with providing any type of solution or at least the sliver of an idea. Are you often confused, or too feeble to think, or contemplate – am I left-handed or right-handed?

Trump did not say one million would die. Trump just followed the science, as he should have. That number was used by Trump because it was provided by someone from England who was "trusted" by Dr. Fauci of our CDC. Three days later, he changed his model and projections to the same number that Fauci eventually projected (240,000). Even Dr. Fauci's projections have changed DOWNWARD. So come on man, haven't you ever been involved in a venture or problem that was projected to cost $1 million dollars and after a few weeks into it, you found something that would cut the cost by - oh let’s say - 25%. Or have you ever needed an emergency repair on your house that the contractor projected to cost $10,000.00 and you had to leave your house for two days while the repairs were being done, but when finally finished, it wasn't quite the emergency as originally projected, you only needed to stay out of your house one day, and the cost was instead only $4,000.00. What would you do if that happened? Keep the goal posts in place? Celebrate? Cry? Brag? Bad mouth whoever projected the original cost? Call them a liar? Just asking! I'm only trying to say that given that THE WORLD (not just our country) has not (never) experienced anything like this coronavirus in our modern technological times, everything is fluid and changes daily, if not by the minute. (There wasn't a panic lock down for the Spanish flu 100 years ago, so that can't be used as a reference.)

And, when you start talking facts other than calling Trump a pathological liar, I'm more than willing to debate you. Until then, why don't you quit wasting space on this blog and find one that is more suitable. And by the way, if you start providing facts and cogent arguments, I will happily and respectfully debate with you. But as Joe Friday said on Dragnet, "The facts. Just the facts." Have a good day.

Did not shut down travel from China he put a travel restriction on Foreign nationals on Flights originating from Wuhan China.

You may not be totally ignorant on this one issue but you are certainly disingenuous. When the president stopped travel from China, he stopped 500,000 non-US residents from travelling to the US from China. What he did not prevent was the return of 50,000 US citizens and US permanent residents to the safety of US from a region that was experiencing a rapid spread of an unknown virus. I can just imagine the howls from you and the rest of the left if the President had decreed that US citizens could not return to the US and must remain in China to become infected.

The Trump restriction of travel from China actually began February 2, not March 12 as you erroneously, as usual, stated; March 12 was the date travel was restricted from Europe. Approximately 5 MILLION people travel to the US from China each year for business and pleasure (the total number of business and leisure travelers to the US each year are in excess of 100 million). In other words the estimate of 500,000 fewer travelers from China during the months of February and March as a result of the Presiden's travel restrictions are probably an underestimate of about 300,000. The only people NOT affected by these restrictions were US citizens and permanent US residents; the US will never prevent the return of its citizens from disease or violence stricken regions to the safety of the US.
