No, China is to blame. They could have easily contained this virus, and they didn't. They saw it as an opportunity to weaken the rest of the world. Are you really so blind that you can't see what is right in front of you?

It is the fault of the progressive, over-regulatory, big-government bureaucratic policies that have pushed our free-market toward socialism these past 50 plus years. Actually going back to FDR and Woodrow Wilson where it started incrementally and gained full speed with Johnson's Great Society. Now we have an entire generation of useful idiots indoctrinated by the leftist media and universities. Wolff doesn't offer up any reasonable alternative or solution to the problems and what he advocates for would do more to destroy through unintended consequences. But he talks a good game, I'll give him that.

No. We need to blame China for not being forthcoming about the outbreak and covering up the evidence of the disease. We need to understand that the loss of jobs came about because the government forced businesses to close. This is not just Trump, but also includes state governors. We just need to see how fast jobs come back as we reopen everything. It will take time because the reopening is being done gradually.

Yes, it takes more work and more time to build something than it does to tear it down and destroy it. Things will never be the same thanks to China.

There is a difference between laws and regulations. Some regulations get written because someone got upset about something and decided they were going to show them who was boss. Too many regulations are written by agencies trying to prove their worth and increase their budgets. Many of the existing regulations seem to be contradictory. What Trump has proposed is that the agencies review their regulations and get rid of those that are outdated, impractical, obtuse, or unnecessary. Things like the 40 hour week and minimum wage are laws and as such it would take Congress to pass a new law changing these. Workers rights are also written laws, not regulations. Things like EPA rules are now required to have scientific evidence supporting proposed rule changes.

I agree, regulations should be reviewed in light of the science.

“Impractical” is worrisome. I want a clear definition. Does that mean it doesn’t achieve the desired outcome? If so, get rid of it. Is it simply too expensive? How do you draw that line? What does the cost/benefit equation look like?

Obtuse regulations should be clarified, not necessarily eliminated.

“Unnecessary” has the same problems as “impractical”.

Contradicting regulations should be resolved one way or the other.

Ya your right Blame China for the virus that’s where it started but does that excuse Trump for the way he handled this virus when it hit this country.

Jan 21st Trump told the AMERICAN people when the first case was reported that he had it under control. Here we are 4 months later approaching 100,000 dead, approaching 40 million unemployed, added an additional$2.6 trillion to our deficit, Fired his national pandemic team. Number of cases rising in the southern Rural states that believed Trump.

That’s no excuse for an incompetent Real Estate agent that went bankrupt 5 times and Refused to listen to his scientist or medical professional.

EBOLA started in Africa what did Obama do when the first case was reported in Texas he tested he contact traced he quarantined that entire area. He dispatched 3,500 military and medical professional to Africa built temporary medical facilities trained the African medical people how to test, treat, contact tracing and isolate the infected.

6 months later EBOLA was gone. The US had 11 cases and 2 dead. And guess what those 3,500 people Obama sent to Africa not one got infected with EBOLA because unlike that prick in the White House he understood the necessity of Personal Protection Gear.

I agree, China is responsible for its failure to tell the truth. I’m not convinced it was intentional. They will, of course, exploit it as much as they can. I personally think it will blow up in their face.

If these people died of the virus, why are you unwilling to name the virus as causing their deaths? And since this virus came from China, why aren't you blaming China and its leader for these deaths? At least that would make some sense.

Schiff is the liar, traitor, and he has plenty of connections to the Standard Hotel, Rachel Chandler, Haiti, and the Liddle Kidz Foundation. I think you should do a lot more research on your hero. Where is the evidence he said he had? He never produced any of it.

Nobody is saying the cause of the virus began in China. What sucks is Trumps response to the virus when it hit this country. It could have been a lot less deaths if Trump didn’t spend 12 weeks downplaying, and blaming everybody but himself.

So let me show you what Trump was saying in January. See his Tweets and press releases below Now what caused close to 100,000 deaths, and close to 40 million unemployed, and added another $2.6 trillion in debt. When you blame China now. So please don’t protect Trump for his failure to response to this pandemic

Nobody is saying the cause of the virus began in C... (show quote)

The WHO and the CDC, among others have traced the outbreak to Wuhan China. Nobody has proven that it came from the biolab in Wuhan, or that it was bioengineered or deliberately released.
As for Trump's inaction, January 6 travel advisory was issued. January 7 CDC instituted its Corona virus incident management system. January 17 CDC began screenings at SFO, LAX and JFK airports. January 20 the CDC opened an emergency operations center after the first US case. January 21 the screenings were expanded to Chicago and Atlanta airports. January 27 the first PCTF meeting was held and on January 29 the President introduced the members of the PCTF. January 31 Trump announced his travel ban from China, which Biden and others decried as racist and xenophobic. February 2 the screenings expanded to Seattle, Dulles, and Honolulu airports. February 4 the CDC allowed the use of CDC covid-19 tests in non-CDC labs. President Trump talked about the pandemic in his State of the Union address. February 5 leaders in Congress (both Democrat and Republican) were briefed. February 9 state-level executives were briefed at the National Governors Association Meeting.
There's more but I believe that proves that Trump was actually taking this seriously and taking appropriate actions.

Earth to Airforceone, plenty of people are saying the COVID-19 virus began in Wuhan China. The only ones who deny that are the Communist Chinese Government. You seem happy to be in agreement with them.
