Kemmy pray? To who, the god of hellfire.

Sad that you still believe in hell and hellfire. Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny too?

You wouldn’t understand. My God is not the constipated, hateful thing you ridicule others for not believing in.

People who talk like you don’t understand God and never did.
Sad. Everybody has their favorite opinion of the afterlife. Mormon men think they’ll get their very own planet. JWs think God will kill everyone but them and turn Earth into an exclusive, eternal farming commune. And then there’s you and your stupid everlasting place of torture. Incredible.

Who is it, or are you unable to name it, because you are an atheist?

The same God you think you know: God, Yahweh, Allah, they’re all the same One.

So these names are associated with Judgement on mankind.

I haven't seen or heard the President's chief medical expert in the last couple of weeks. Trump is having an open feud with the CDC. What are the chances he wants to shut up Fauci and the CDC, because he isn't concerned about a second wave of the pandemic, and is not following the CDC's guidance on the pandemic. Y'ALL BE PREPARED FOR A SECOND WAVE. It is already hitting Montgomery, Alabama real hard. ICU rooms are no longer available, because of overcrowded hospitals.

Fauci is a fraud it’s time for him to shut up! You as well

What we really need, and should have had from the start, is a voice from the non-medical side of the equation. Fauci and Birx are doctors - good ones at that - but there has been nobody to bring the economic component to the table. We need someone to act as a counter balance to their points of view. The whole thrust has been to try to keep people from getting sick, ignoring the very real results that will occur if we stay closed. We are already seeing those results to a pretty large extent. Fauci says stay closed or we might see a surge at some point. Well, I can tell you that if we stay closed the results will be much worse for this Country than what we have seen so far from the pandemic, and it isn't a possibility, it's a certainty.

Your POV has merit, Bernie.. I do not oppose it.. but which is most important, national health or money?
We have tossed out trillions of $$ in a very short time..

Now, this is my POV. the original bailout, only days into the shutdown was all for the big corporations. these would logically be prime customers for any bank to sink money into, why should they git bailed out before even the least of others..

the ones, as usual, who are in need from the collapse, are small business. But they were only forced into the stimulus by the opposition.. and that is still the case.. Republicans are refusing more aid to the small timers as well as individuals..

so in a nut shell, I would support stimulus for small business and more enhanced unemployment insurance.. although I do wonder why our safety net of Unemployment insurance is not sufficient at least for a few months..

I should add, Fauci has been clear that he is speaking only on the health issue, not addressing the economy at all, that is not his area.

You ask what is more important, national health or money. Well, that view is missing my point entirely. I submit that it isn't a choice between national health or money, it is a choice between national health either way. The money is just to keep people from starving until they get a new job, and the longer we go the worse it will be.
The second part of your argument again advances the chicken and the egg argument. I propose it should be more like giving a man a fish vs teaching him to fish. The blue state governors are the ones who are keeping people from working, almost without exception. If we keep pouring borrowed money into the machine to feed people and not letting them work, we are not only applying a band-aid solution to the problem, we are creating an untenable economic situation. This solution creates no jobs. The only way to attack this problem is to create jobs. We are not creating jobs by throwing money at the situation. The only way to create jobs is to help those who provide the jobs and then the money will come along and the multiplier effect will occur. That $1200 or whatever it is will run out very fast and zero jobs will be created. Then we will be faced with bigger debt and inflation that will hurt the lower economic class most. When I hear what Nancy Pelosi proposes time after time, my blood pressure goes through the ceiling. She has no clue. It is sad that our education system does not teach economics the way it actually works. Oh, by the way, besides inflation, the proposed liberal attack will result in higher taxes which will have to be borne by mostly the middle class. Can you see where this is eventually leading?

Bernie, let me back up and try again..

I think the stimulus was to early and not, yet at least, needed..

big biz, was booming.. the rest of us may have been only so-so, but the big were having a wonderful cycle.. so why were the big guys the original focus of being given a bail out. Every bank in the country would love to have them for customers..

Next, OK,,, why was not the basic safety net sufficient help for the average American??
Do we truly have a huge number of people who need help to survive a few weeks of on the unemployment check?? We were told over and over the country was booming.. did that turn out to be untrue??

What do you picture if the early return creates a surge of new infections?? a second shut down? the orange worrier says no way, never... he is so worried, he will not allow that to mess with his reelection attempt..
what would be worse, a couple more weeks, a slow return or a start all over again 2nd wave?

Create jobs.... all the big boys have to do is open the doors.. the creation/replacements will be done by the small biz. they are the ones needing a boost.. yet the funds without oversight are being handed out to those big boys, who should have the deep pockets and multi resources..

Sure, I am a bit bold on this. No one in my family has lost a job, they are working at home or essential.. the only one is having call back for spring/summer construction delayed week to week..

Pelosi...she must be the most feared of all Democrats for the administration..
I Have not kept track of all the charges by republicans, but I think much of what she has proposed is meant to be so upsetting to republicans that they will not pass the bill with these things in it..

good and mild strategy compared to the direct threats made by the orange thing if they do not do as he tells them...

For now, rain coming later, so I may not be back reading for a while, but have yourself a nice day and I shall return.. like someone said once upon a time..

1934 duesenberg.. looking great.. convertible..
