Paul, the baker is a big item because they were apparently singled out. They made no secret of their beliefs. There were probably a dozen other bakers that would have been glad to have the business. As a former chef/restaurant manager, there have been times when a third of my staff was gay. The only problem I ever had was with two guys who could not seem to comprehend that drugs were for AFTER work.

So one idiot was a hypocrite. Trying to paint an entire segment of the population as being this way is disingenuous.

When did someone sue a store to force the owner to let them in without a mask?

Typical Leftist twisting of events.

Jack Phillips did not and does not refuse to serve gays -- he merely refuses to bake cakes for gay weddings or for sex change events due to his religious beliefs. If they want to buy those products he bakes for all of his customers, they are as welcome in his bakery as anyone else.

The problem there is simply that gays and the Democrats who pander for their vote have no problem forcing their agendas on those of us whose religious convictions forbid what we perceive to be perversions of G-d's will.

Anyone who respects the Bill of Rights (you know, that inconvenient section of the Constitution that protects us from the totalitarian whims of the likes of today's Democrats), gay, straight or bisexual, would simply have taken their business to another bakery, but no... These people, both the gays who demand that we all accept their abnormal preferences for "making whoopie," whether we like it or not, as normal and the Democrats whose stock in trade seems to be unchecked intrusiveness in all our lives feel the need to try and destroy someone's livelihood because he won't cooperate with their agendas.

In the case of your meme, a suitable comparison would be the extremes of your lying accusations, for example when Mitt Romney, during his run for president, said that it shouldn't cost the taxpayer $800.00 to give one person $200.00 in food stamps -- while the Democrats knew damn well he was merely alluding to the inefficiency of an overstuffed beaurocracy, they yelled that he wanted to do away with food stamps.

The same with every other issue: if one didn't vote for Hillary or Obama, it had nothing to do their not believing either was the best candidate for the office, it was because they didn't want a woman or a black person to be president.

Anyone who's not completely stupid can see the dishonesty in these slanderous claims.

As for the face masks, they are mandated by local governments and failure to comply can lead to businesses being shut down or summonses being issued, no matter how local businesses wish to observe regulations pertaining to the Covid-19 pandemic.

What it all amounts to is Democrats lying to the people because they have no actual plan that would appeal to most voters or people to carry one out, know they're going to lose the House and see President Trump re-elected.

Smedley - I can appreciate that there are nuances between the baker and the mask-when-shopping issue.
But the sentiment of this meme still holds for liberals like myself.

As to your drug-using gay employees, I'm glad to hear you judged them on their illicit work activities and not their orientation! Drugs seem to be an inherent part of the restaurant business. Read the late Anthony Bourdain's book "Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly" (2000). It's a great read from a celebrity chef whose presence I really miss.

BTW - I originally studied Hotel and Restaurant Management at FSU, but changed my major. I love to cook and entertain friends, and someone always asks "Why don't you open a restaurant?" My reply is always "I'd rather stick needles in my eye."

That because there is a big difference between fiscal conservatives of which there are few and RINOs which are many. When you are a minority it is difficult to convince the rest of Congress to change, especially when the voters prefer to run huge deficits by voting more and more benefits to themselves and don't care about what they leave. Their legacy for their children and grandchildren will be a government that can't provide the basic functions and necessities of a government. This may be a greater existential threat than climate change.

Just the expected crap from you on this issue. We know you are gay and just want to pump for your personal agenda, no matter how wrong or nonsensical. And on the bakery issue you are wrong from top to bottom

Actually, I have never regretted my vote for Donald Trump and I will definitely vote to re-elect him.

Your ilk's just frustrated because after Obama started the demolition job on America, you and the rest of the polezniye duraki were really sure that once Hillary the Walking Crime Wave© took over the left-controlled Democrat wrecking ball America would be finished, our sovereignty a thing of the past, our economy a shambles and the last semblance of our morality and our Constitution consigned to the scrap heap of history...

... and then surprise, surprise, surprise...

https://youtu.be/2TnkJ8_BmSI

...American patriotism prevailed and Donald Trump won the election, and he immediately began reversing all the damage done under Obama.

This is why he has been under attack every second since he was elected. All the hard work your Bolshevik heroes, all those corrupt traitors championing your anti-America cause and their deep state flunkies under the Obama-Clinton umbrella of corruption whose aim was to undermine our Constitutional republic for their globalist patrons.

Of course you hate President Trump. He is the man who set your political icons' attempts to destroy our country back years.

So you and the rest of the useful fools accuse him of all the corrupt practices that your own politicians are guilty of while ignoring the profound corruption of the Pelosis, the Obamas, the Bidens, Kerrys, Clintons and the rest of that crowd, the blatant lies of Adam Schitt and his cronies...

It's a good thing for you that you are living today rather than a couple of centuries ago, because back then they used to hang your ilk.

It's also a good thing for you that you live in America, because in the kind of country your kind wants America to become, the freedom of speech you're enjoying to denigrate the president would be replaced by a knock on your door at zero dark hundred hours, and you would disappear without a trace.

That said, have a nice day.
