OK then, now I just have to outlast the Navy vet. C'mon, bring it on you can't be any worse than a Navy Dr. with rubber gloves and a smile on his face.

Right now, I'm thanking God for the thick skin and sense of humor He gave me.
You guys sure are testing the FNG here.
I'm old enough to have heard em all and laughed at most of em. Am I being hazed here?🙃

Definitely not!! We are just welcoming you aboard. No different if you walked aboard the quarter deck.

Actually I was an Army 'brat'. Dad joined the Army in 1923 and retired as top sarge in 1945. I was born at the Army Hospital at Jefferson Barracks, MO. Due to my dad's expert instruction, I was adept at all the march commands, facings, 16 count manual of arms, cuss words, poker, red dog, blackjack, etc. well before I joined the Navy in 1951. Grins
My mom had a brother who survived the Bataan Death March and 3 years in the Japanese copper mines before released and coming home. He also did his 20 before retiring.

Hello all. I'm new at the moment but not totally. I believe the last time I posted here was sometime in 2016. I left here for medical reasons, had a couple of operations at the VA Hospital and now all is good?
I'm noticing a few names are missing since my last post, buddies, I hope all is well with them. I see there are still some that were antagonists in the past, and still are to this day. Some never learn I reckon. Anyway, my name is dave.

Welcome Dave!
