Ever had a rat infestation?

No, I did have a problem with civet cats some time ago.
My dog kept having fleas, one day I looked out and she was playing with the civet cats.
Found this out later:
In China, the civet cat is a delicacy - and may have caused Sars

Not sure where you live, but me too!! Here in rural VA....heat and humidity....I really found out what an incredible aroma that makes when mixed with "deceased" rats. Not something you forget, is it??!!??

Wild animals take advantage of a lack of human activity to return to cities and towns, including goats in Llandudno, Wales. Earth is healing! March 2020.

In my town (a cross between country and city, I've lived in the city, I'd say country) someone posted a "my cat or was it dog being ambushed by a fox."

LOL....and to answer your question...."oh yeah" and originally being from the city, transplant to the woods (have lived in the woods for 19 years now), thought "brightly" "oh, just put rat poison in certain hidden away places" (didn't have cats...yet)….you know where I'm going with this....rats dying in your walls....Oh. My. Word!!!!! Three months of "less than" stellar air, coupled with copious amounts of air fresheners and fans. Went out and bought BIG traps!!
LOL....and to answer your question...."oh yea... (show quote)

You really didn't have to buy traps. Chicken wire keeps them out or in if you want. I don't know why you'd want it. We had field mice coming in from where else the field behind us. They were small but there were so many of them. I guess they didn't count on us having cats. They brought me a "present" one night. I spoke to friends, I had only lived in Ohio for a few years. Their best advice was the chickenwire. We had to move soon after and there were some dead ones under the fridge.

It's why I used to have 13 cats. Now just 5.
