I have a slew of Coronavirus memes and two line stay home jokes. As an example: Quarantine Day 5: Went to this restaurant called THE KITCHEN. You have to gather all the ingredients and make your own meal. I have no clue how this place is still in business.

LOL....took me a nanosecond....funny to watch a lot of folks becoming acquainted with that thing called a kitchen. Wonder if they'll ever get over the shock of it all. Oh, and fling as many as you like out there....humor is the greatest therapy there is. Safe journey....

It astonishes me that all the prepackaged and prepared food vanish in a nanosecond. Of course, the inability, laziness or just plain do not know how cooks purchasing those things leave me with a great selection of fresh produce and meats.

I went to the store earlier for a few things, and noticed that there are very few boxed, or canned foods on the shelf, but tons of deodorant. I needed some, so I bought two in case there's a run on that too!

We are rather challenged here, even the fresh vegetables are being snatched up. I'm guessing an awful lot of grown children are taking stuff to their mama's and "mayhaps" getting a little culinary education. I'll never forget the young professional showing up at my organic market back in the day, still in heels, not wanting to admit she had no idea what those greens were or what to do with them. She informed me she would be taking them to her mama's and her mama would be cooking and would I pick out something nice. Still makes me laugh, but I was very good. I kept my poker face on and went about picking out things I was sure her mama would just love. I could tell she knew that "I knew", by her bristly discussion, but she actually became friendly by the time she left because I resisted the temptation to poke fun. I'm hoping this week I will be able to find more than the three decrepit packs of chicken I saw in the poultry section two weeks ago. The panic was slow to reach us here, but when it did.....the shelves were quite a shock to see. I was really glad that I still had things from last summer still in the freezer I hadn't gotten to yet, and we hadn't eaten all the venison our bow hunters provided us this winter. I will say the venison barbeque turned out spectacularly well. Wish me luck this week!!

Funny, you are!! If you're being "a good boy" and staying home....deodorant not really essential....however, I know, I know....better safe than sorry. You never know what won't be on the shelves next.

I could make a fortune right now. January and February Costco had a toilet paper coupon. My household goods shelf has 96 rolls.

PS: I had a wonderful conversation with WFOC this past week. Your name came up.

I can't really stay at home being "essential" and all, so I kinda need it.
But then.......with the 'social distancing' thing, going without it might help me out.🤔

I might have wasted money, and put myself at risk!

Him and I discussed how difficult it is not to touch your face, and I meant to tell him to tell you to trim your eyebrows.

That helped me a lot!

Well now, who'd ever "thunk" that one would have occurred!! I'm only essential here on the farm. Gotta say, I'd never have thought I would think I'd feel happy about that one.
