Smedley made a hell of a point. If the owners and members of that company give almost exclusively to Democrats you can pretty well imagine their out comes are biased. Just common sense.

I know the Wall Street Journal is more conservative than most of the MSM but hardly far right. I have no idea what their donation history is. I have seen articles from them critical of the Trump administration. I looked up the authors of the piece you posted. They are very liberal politically.
I hope you realized the economies of areas is not a democrat, republican thing. One of the richest areas in the country is outside of D.C. (very blue) into Virginia. Why? Lobbyists have moved there by the thousands. Doubt if you'd consider that group as very productive.

Actually democrats are smart enough to know that it is being withheld to get employees even better coverage than the GOP intended, and forcing oversight on how major industries are bailed out.
