Have you actually looked at what republicans want

What I would like to see is republicans go ahead and pass their own bill so they can't blame liberals for any of this give away. Then let trump let everybody go back to work and see what happens in november.

Doesn’t work like that. All bills originate in the House an Senate. They go to the Senate if passed out of the House. The Senate then makes changes and sends Bill back to the House. Eventually it ends up on the Presidents desk. He can sign it or veto it. Personally IMO any bill written by these idiots will be horrible. The Democrats are just a tad stupider than the republicans

So.....I wonder what those liberals who are now out of a job feel about Nancy trying to use the stimulus bill to delay it's passing so she can tack on more and more outrageous additions to it. The more she tries to add to it, the worse it looks to Americans (including Democrats) who really need a break TODAY...not next week or next month.

How quick do you think the working people are going to get help? Under the republican plan this has to go through the irs, which most are not working.under their plan the irs will have to go through each persons taxes to see how much they will get.How long do you think that will take? This is not about workers it's about business.

Agreed....the Senate can pass whatever bill it likes. The will pass whatever bill it likes. Then it goes to conference. The rest is just political gamesmanship.

What an absolute crock the assumptions made in that left wing article.

Yeah, ok. Brookings Institute and Wall St. Journal....as left wing as it gets. Face it....the facts say that blue states are more productive than red states and they also support a transfer of funds from the national government to the red states.

Truly amazing what idiocy some folks focus on. The idea that somehow Democrats are slackers is the Republican equivalent of thumb sucking: comforting but ultimately only useful for self soothing. Has nothing to do with the real world, where Democrats are kicking Republican economic ass.

A liberal claimed that if Democraps didn't work we wouldn't have anything. I merely pointed out that most unemployed welfare recipients are Democrats. They would not want to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.
By the way, I would not put too much faith in the Brookings Institute. I mean, just because 96% of their donations since 1990 ($824,259) went to Democratic candidates is no reason to suspect them of Liberal bias.

I sure as hell not make the American people they got waiting on a check ,that they will get it next week if this bill passes.,I wouldn't set this up with the irs having to go through everybody taxes,to see how much they would get a check for.Because it may be next year before anybody gets anything. So why do they keep saying pass this bill get the money in the workers pockets quick. You know who will get the money in their money quick big business, then small business and the workers will wait and wait.

If the bill passes how long will it take to get the workers money in their pocket? How long will it take to get money to big business that doesn't have to go to the irs,?

60 to 80 percent of welfare recipients are Democrats.
Blacks vote nearly 90 percent Democrat on average.
Blacks are 40% (approximately) of welfare recipients but only 13% of the population
Whites are about 37 percent of welfare recipients, but are about 65 percent of the population. The only thing most Liberals make is trouble, and the only thing they grow is pot.

Let all liberals take a 3 month vacation ,and see what you got,you want have no pot you want have no food ,you want have any gas because it want be delivered.

It s based on resources not people. Terrible analogy. Blue states have the most crime. Blue states have the most homeless. Blue states have the biggest disparity between have and have nots. It’s not a Democrat vs. Republican thing. It’s a class thing. Red states get more funds because most army bases are in red states. Most of our food is grown in red states also.

I can't find a link anywhere that says the stimulus money will go through the IRS. These are considered direct cash payments that have no bearing on what anyone owes to the IRS from what I understood them to mean when they first started talking about it.

Can you provide a link where it says what you are saying about the IRS going through each person's taxes first?
Thanks.
