yes, you are very correct about this..

Nothing...NOTHING...NOTHING... he EVER does will be accepted as good for the country.

As you say, it is very hard to find anything that lies for trump, only his fish wrap press..

So keep searching the flood of truth about the ornagne ding bat and we will at long last be rid of the albatross come November.. Inspite of your vote..

Hey Permafrost (won't call you "Permi" as our resident pantywaist did elsewhere)

what happened to Minnesota nice, huh?

Thanks Navigator for appreciating one of the best posts, in my estimation. I also understand your dilemma, you are not alone.

What do you mean- eloquence must be a stranger in your parts. He needs his wife to stir him into action, sounds like he's running for a political office in our country by saying nothing weighty - and concludes with a "God Bless" bwahahaha…..

Think so, but whoever becomes the nominee has my vote and my efforts.. even a small amount of money, probably..

I was holding a post to reply, but lost the darn thing..

My restriction to home, insisted on by all three of my kids, even my little girl is easy.. I could stay here all the time, nearly do, watch the grass grow, the snow melt slow as that is going.. but my wife has a bit more need for conversation...

They think the minor problems I had last summer/fall make me a walking infection if I breath the air around civilization.. I was a bit surprised my daughter got uptight about it.. she usually could care less..

One last item... my wife in the last outing before shutdown with some of her sewing pals, were in a restaurant and the table next door was going on about how the virus was spreading over the phone lines.. and they sounded as if they meant it.. no chuckles of giggles.. she is still gabbing about that and more dumb stuff over the shutdown.. My sister aided apartment is now shut down to visitors and the state shutting down all schools as of wednesday..

I know this is a serious event and it may well last longer then we now think, but so much seems such a overreaction..

Stay well CD and have a good day..

Incoherent family stories are the last refuge of scoundrels. Makes them sound lest vicious than they really are. The labored "stream of consciousness" does not help much.

My wife just drew my attention to the news... It was FOX, but I didn't recognize which show...

They interviewed a young woman in Washington state who contacted the virus... She reported it on February 25 the and didn't get her results back until earlier this week... A two week period...

Regardless... That's not my point...

They went on to report that there are 457 cases in Washington State with 31 deaths to date...

That's a 7% mortality rate... Which is more than twice the rate the rest of the world is experiencing...

Which leads to two possibilities..

1. The American healthcare system sucks..

2. There are more than twice the number of infected people than is being reported...

The first is a possibility...

But the second is frightening...

Quit your bickering and pull together...

No more of this bullshit trying to sneak crap into bills meant to fight the coronavirus...

No more idiotic finger pointing at Trump or Obama...

No more...

My prayers for all... God bless...

It's a higher ratio because of the nature of who was getting tests early on, the ratio will go down as more and more tests are done

California is being full on locked down, bars, wineries and brew pubs closed...and that will save a whole lot of lives in the end, people seem to understand although it hasn't sunk in what we are looking at

Let me answer : It is to confuse the hell out of the contributors away from what we are actually saying to the likeness (avatar). I myself much prefer empty boxes, they are less likely to be trolls, whoever THEY might be.

I'll take yo to task there: We do have the best health care in the world.

What we do not have is a good health care administration system.

Actually we do not have the best, we have the most expensive but it is not the best for tens of millions of people.

A friend of mine who is a hard working contractor contracted hepatitis when he was in his 20's, he had to watch as a drug that cured it was unavailable because it cost $80k, the ACA passed, he got healthcare, and he is now cured as opposed to knowing his liver was going to kill him 10 years or more early. A country that lets a hard working self employed person die for lack of a vastly overpriced drug does not have the best healthcare system in the world...

statistically we rank at the bottom of a list of the top 100 countries healthcare systems. I have had good healthcare but my wife and I were paying $1800 a month plus copays for a Kaiser premium plan before the ACA. I can tell you that most working class people cannot afford to pay over $2000 a month for healthcare.

Your last statement is absolutely true. While raising money to fight a new virus, Nancy Pelosi added pork to the barrel in the form of money for abortions. It's like saying. "If you're sick, we'll fight to save your life, but if you're an unborn child, you're shit out of luck ( pardon my French).
Hr actions prompted me to post this meme on another thread.

Wake up, the GOP refused to adopt oversight and regulations on the money being thrown at the companies trying to do tests and vaccine work, that is the pork. That crap about abortions is pure politicizing and you do not know what is being talked about.

Then why are democrats and other doctors and nation leaders praising Trump'd administration for being the best prepared in the world?

Blowing smoke up trump's butt... we are at least six weeks behind the curve, trump was offered a jump start on testing weeks ago and said no thanks our companies will handle that, and they botched it miserably. So far we have been ranked well behind other country's response, we are closer to Italy than others that jumped on this aggressively from the start.

My mother had Hep C... When the cure came out she was told to wait three years as they went down the list.. Or pay herself... Only 60 grand in Canada.. Four years later she received the cure.... She was on disability the whole time she waited... Worked out to about the same...

About the same time, I had a friend over here in China purchase the cure for his father... Cost 1200 dollars...

Both Canada and the US need to get out from under the drug companies....

I heard Trump call for unification of the parties, to stop the bickering, and to work together to fight this virus. Trump invited...nobody came.

States and corporations have been doing their own thing well before trump started, a week ago he was still saying it was no worse than the flu, go on about your business, now he's the brilliant one leading the fight about six weeks too late.

Thanks, but I want to hear from experts unfiltered through the Trump/Pence/CDC crap machine, Seattle has the lead there.
