indeed, Peewee!

Attempting to watch all things Israel is never a simple enterprise.

Since reading your announcement, I've been searching for an online Israeli publication with a map of this river's hidden river bed as it flows through southern Israel.

Too early apparently! - not enough time lapsed since the official announcement...

Israel and Egypt are now officially entered into an agreement to harvest a rich offshore natural gas deposit, which they eventually intend to sell to the EU.

Turkey has been sending it's soldiers into Libya in their own attempt to gain sufficient influence through that country's weak government to make a claim for this offshore gas.

Never is there a dull moment where anything regarding Israel, the apple of God's eye, is concerned.

Israel began exporting natural gas to Egypt on Wednesday under one of the most important deals to have been signed by the neighbors since they made peace four decades ago.

A private firm in Egypt, Dolphinus Holdings, will purchase 85 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas, worth an estimated $19.5 billion, from Israel’s Leviathan and Tamar offshore fields over 15 years.

Israeli Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz said the deal was “just the start” of cooperation with Egypt.

Yossi Abu, CEO of Israel’s Delek Drilling, one of the partners in Leviathan and Tamar, said the arrangement “marks a new era in the Middle East energy sector.”

Israel will initially export 200 million cubic feet of gas per day to Egypt, two Egyptian industry sources said. Gas from Leviathon will be supplied to Dolphinus at a rate of 2.1 bcm per year, rising to 4.7 bcm per year by the second half of 2022, according to Delek.

The gas is being supplied via a subsea pipeline connecting Israel and Egypt’s Sinai peninsula, which Steinitz said had sufficient capacity for current volumes, though the option of building a second pipeline was being considered if demand from Egypt grew. Exports of Tamar gas to Dolphinus are expected to start later this year.

Israeli officials have called the export of gas to Egypt the most significant deal to emerge since the countries signed a historic peace treaty in 1979.

“The fact that the three countries, Israel, Egypt and Jordan are now collaborating together and are already connected with a regional gas transmission system … this is significant and it will contribute to peace and security in the Middle East,” Steinitz told Reuters in an interview in Cairo.

Jordan received its first supplies of Israeli gas at the start of the month.

ENERGY HUB PLAN

Egypt, which has boosted its own gas production in recent years, is hoping the Israeli gas deal will help it become a regional energy hub, with some of the gas expected to be re-exported to Europe through liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants.

Israeli gas was not being sent to Egypt’s Idku LNG plant yet, but that could happen “in a few months,” Steinitz said.

He also said Israel was talking to Egypt and India about exporting surplus gas to Asia via the Suez canal, and that Egypt could in the future join Israel, Cyprus and Greece in the recently signed EastMed gas pipeline project.

Steinitz brushed off concerns over a maritime deal struck between Turkey and Libya’s internationally recognized government in November, which is seen by Greece and Cyprus as a hydrocarbons resource grab.

“Nobody can block the Mediterranean and nobody can own the Mediterranean … I don’t think this is a serious obstacle,” he said.

I forget where it is but somewhere it says Israel will become very wealthy again. That dam at the headwaters of the Nile is unstable and will collapse one day. Jordan is very wishy-washy to Israel, but looking at the maps of southern Judea, it looks like Israel has gained control of Qumran and can soon start digging up the treasures of the Copper Scroll. Both Bibi and his opponent Gantz will meet with Trump very soon, I hope Gantz allows Bibi to lead Israel, but God is in control and I absolutely trust His judgment. But Gantz is in the driver's seat for now and will try and gather the 61 votes he needs to form a government.

That river is running toward the Dead Sea and the sinkholes around it are being replenished with fresh water. So many things are happening so fast, it has to be God and His unseen hand. I'm just grateful to know a few of the mysteries that are now coming to fruition. It's so exciting to witness it. It's why I love prophecy so much. And Zev Porat looks like he is drawing the 144,000 witnesses every day into his Bible studies. Something stirs within me when he does his Youtube videos I can't explain. God's hand is moving all over the world right now. Making everything come together, for now. It's just awesome to witness.

I really feel peace is about to break out everywhere even with all the suffering going on. Steve Quayle said there are a lot more dead in China than what we're being told. Hundreds dead in the streets. Soldiers are keeping people from fleeing and there aren't enough to pick up the bodies. Maybe a worldwide revival is next. Let's hope and pray it's so. I know I'm weird but I love babies and Heaven is going to be full of them. 60 million just from the US. Abortion is now the leading cause of death in the world unless this virus continues to spread. That Philippine Volcano looks like it about to really blow its top. Saw a drone video last night and some tech gadget was attached and the ground around the crater is heaving again and you can see beneath the surface and see how huge the magma is below ground. I wouldn't want to be within 200 miles of that spot.

Okay, I'll hush but so much is going on I can only sleep a few hours before I'm back and surfing the web again.

Love and prayers and I hope you're doing great! Be careful in the kitchen. I took a fall last Friday and got a few scraps to my forehead, so I'm okay. Anywhere else and I would have been hurt. Not sure of the cause since it wasn't my sugar. I've got an appointment with my new doc on Feb. 3rd, maybe she'll find something I don't want to hear, hope not. I have a peace and joy that passes understanding. Life is crazy, but proceeding according to His plans.

Love and prayers headed your way, and that still includes the children and grandchildren.

The Thanks is reciprocal, bahmer,

Your regular Hebrew word definition lessons are always read and always appreciated, although I don't always think to acknowledge them.

Hi JW/Peewee,

Did you mean this verse about Israel's wealth?

Amos 9:14-15
"I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,” says the Lord your God.

Asher is one of the children of Israel (Jacob) and one of the 12 tribes of Israel. His name means “blessed/happy“

Moses blessed the tribe of Asher: “And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.” (Deuteronomy 33:24)

Sorry about your fall, and so glad you had only scrapes.

Who knew our "golden years" would be so fraught with danger as to require such constant vigilance?

I am both grateful for, and try to ignore the endless "safety" features embedded within my home, for they sometimes feel like a burdensome nuisance... until needed.

Perhaps your new doctor will be a prophecy buff! Ha!

That would be the best of all matches made in heaven.

Hi Zemirah, Amos 9 could be the one, my memory isn't so crisp anymore. It sounds half-right to me, but it was a long time ago when I was a teenager and made a list of things that had to occur before Jesus returns.

I knew they would one day discover oil but I thought it would be in the ancient area of Asher which is in the north near the Golan and Galilee, not off the coast and in the Med. And the Dead Sea had to be restored to freshwater. But I thought it would be from an earthquake that would create a channel from one of Jerusalem's underground water sources to the Dead Sea. Maybe it's a twofer. It partially recovers now and then fully when the Mount of Olives splits when Jesus returns. The earth still has at least a thousand plus years to remain. But fish will return and men will mend their nets on the banks of the Dead Sea one day.

I also thought Bob Cornuke was right about the Temple being nearer the Gihon Springs and David's Palace. Seems I may have missed that one, so far. But the Wailing Wall still gives me some doubts. The Temple Mount could be the old Roman Antonio Fort. And if I were David I would have had my palace as near to the threshing floor as possible. Pretty sure he knew where the Temple would be built by Solomon and would want Solomon as close to God and the altar as possible. One thing Jerusalem and Rome share, they both have a lot of tunnels no one knows about and some of ancient Jerusalem is still underground waiting to be discovered.

The last time I checked the red heifer was still alive and blemish-free. And maybe the movable temple is in Qumran. Jim Barfield thinks Qumran may have been where they led the sin-bearing goat to and tossed him off a high place there. Anyhow, I love trying to figure out the mysteries of the Bible. Moab and Damascus both have to perish sometime soon. And 34 of our servicemen got concussions from the Iran missiles, thankfully none have died. You don't get concussions if you're in your foxhole. They must have been on sentry duty or exposed for some other reason, like keeping tabs on their Iraqi partners so they don't wake up dead.

Time for me to hit the hay. Goodnight from the Alamo city.
