The polarization of America is frightening. As a retired boomer I’m amazed at the tribalism that has occurred across our country. Trump continues to pour gasoline on the division that he thrives on.
I am so burnt out on Trump and his family. We need politicians that unite the country not slice it up like a loaf of bread.

Those politicians don't exist. Who would funnel 100's of millions of dollars into the RNC and DNC, if they were more similar than different?

Welcome to the OPP...

I agree concerning the tribalism...
Disagree concerning the cause...

Who was the last politician you felt United the country?

You must have missed the eight years of Trayvon Martin's daddy Obama, community organizer of BLM and Antifa, cuz it don't matter if you're black or white, just radical and Hillary calling half of Americans deplorable. Good grief Charlie Brown, another dipstick has gotten aboard. He doesn't even know fire is an excellent disinfectant, must not like westerns and guns. If the Trump family burns you out stop reading and listening about them, duh. My advice is to jump off this OPP train now and roll when you hit the ground, away from the train. Libs get confused so easily but they do have most of the Darwin awards.

For someone "yearning to understand", you come on pretty strong as someone who's pitched their tent on the liberal side of the stream...
Amazed? Really? Have you been watching these " hearings" ? Can you honestly say this has been a legitimate, honorable and just inquiry?
Welcome, I guess.

''Yearning to learn'' is a condition often predicated by intense feelings of survey concerning various social constructs...

Conflict often leads to clarity

Okay. That makes sense.
A Merry Christmas to you, Canada.

Yes, we need more of the racial conflict that Obama instigated.

Whoa, hold on there Moose. As one boomer to another it sounds like you've already decided that the left foot should lead the way down the path. May I suggest that you start by putting both feet together, stand still and check out the comments for awhile before stepping out again.

I also agree with that.

Bull Moose wasn't suggesting a cause... He was saying that Trump is "pouring gasoline on the division that he thrives on". That would suggest the division was already there and Trump is simply exacerbating it. On that point I also agree with him.

Trump thrives on the division, which is why he gets compared to the fascists of the mid-20th century that made that political technique so famous.

I don't think there ever was one, unless you count those like Lincoln that forced the union with bloodshed.

As another boomer to another... Bull Moose never made any such claim, but you're reaction certainly underlies your prejudgment that ANYONE with less than a rosy comment about Trump is a confirmed socialist. LOL

Obama didn't instigate any of that. If white racists didn't get their panties in a knot because the People elected a black president none of that racial conflict would have happened.
