While near everyone sees the need and good of recycling/reuse it is such a bother..

Now I have a new culpert to contend with..

As all must know, little kids love furnintur that fits them when they are the little ones..

So my great grandson, as all the others, got some of his own..
Now he is no longer useing them much and so I found a new little boy to use them..

gave away the chair he did use for about a year and half.. he never used for a long time, but spotted the missing chair and demanded to know what had we done with it..

Long story short, he wants to keep anything that was his..

Now, one of those things is a little roll top desk.. he did use this for all his coloring, drawing and preschool homework..

But I told the mom of the new kid that he could have it and she/him are overjoyed..

Now the great grand son is tossing a fit about losing his own desk, although he no longer fits in very well and does not use it..

Oh well, more interesting then sorting bottles and cans..

Good looking kid. Good smile. Does he know you hate Trump and would rather install someone who would raise his mom and dad's taxes so Santa can't bring him that thing he wants so badly???

Last I'd heard dems want to tax wealthy people, not working people, the taxes dems want to impose on people will not affect normal people, the ones they will affect can afford all the kid's desks and college educations they want.

You apparently are part of those too ignorant to follow the facts instead of the RW rhetorical talking points.

Trumps tax cut resulted in greater revenue. Do you know why?

As usual, you right wingers only echo the lies told to you by the trash press..

facts...

https://www.taxpolicycenter.org/taxvox/did-tax-cuts-and-jobs-act-pay-itself-2018

Did the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act Pay for Itself in 2018?

Were you surprised that the 2017 tax overhaul, commonly referred as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), did not increase revenues in 2018? Probably not, but several prominent conservatives, including Republicans in the House and Senate, former Reagan economist Art Laffer, and members of the Trump Administration, would be disappointed if they looked at the data. They have repeatedly claimed that TCJA either increased revenues or will pay for itself.

In principle, a tax cut could “pay for itself” if it spurred substantial economic growth. Revenues would rise from the combination of higher wages and hours worked, greater investment returns, and larger corporate profits. Under this scenario, that “dynamic” effect would more than offset the entire “static” revenue loss of the tax cut.

TCJA, however, is not that tax cut. While some TCJA supporters are touting that nominal revenues were higher in fiscal year (FY) 2018 than in FY2017, that comparison does not address the question of TCJA’s effects. Nominal revenues rise because of inflation and economic growth. Adjusted for inflation, total revenues fell from FY2017 to FY2018 (Figure 1). Adjusted for the size of the economy, they fell even more.

The most appropriate test of the revenue impact of TCJA is to compare (a) actual revenues in FY2018 with (b) predicted revenues in FY2018 assuming Congress had not passed the legislation. In fact, the actual amount of revenue collected in FY2018 was significantly lower than the Congressional Budget Office (CBO)’s projection of FY2018 revenue from January 2017—before the tax cuts were signed. The shortfall is $275 billion, or 7.6 percent of revenues that were expected before the tax cuts took place. Given that the economy grew, unless one can find some other change that caused a large revenue loss, the data imply that TCJA reduced revenues (Figure 1) – substantially.

Of course there are other articles pointing out that revenues my not over take the tax cut but then much of the tax cut's effects will be felt over a few more years. To expect total turn around in two years is ignorant. The effects will accumulate over many more years to come.

And the "trash" press lies it's ass off about anything Trump by a 20-1 margin of truthful press as regards to Trump, so take that comment and shove it.

The effect of the tax cuts will be very clear in a few more years, that is when the few cuts which went to the middle class began to expire and are gone..

Nothing good will ever come from the trump gift to himself and the ulta rich..

What a cute kid.
Most kids have a hard time turning loose of their things.
They feel secure with their things.

Very true Tug, and this little guy has shown a fixation on nearly everything which he associates with..

He is a fine kid but now in real school he is catching the bad parts from other kids, in exchange he gives them his bad parts..

Amazes me how that works, always the irritating things, why not pass the good things.. never seems to work that way..

Good morning and have a great day...

Ha, rich people own the companies and businesses the middle-class work for and they also always pass along the cost of doing business to us.

I don't know, but that's how it works.
This little boy used to come over to play with my son.
They were eight.
One day my son came home from school and told me he didn't like the boy anymore.
Why, I asked?
He dips snuff in class and spits it in his boot.
He's gross.
I thought good stay away.

Yeah, but I didn't expect much more from a kid named Rufus.
Who names a kid that?
His dad's name was Rufus.
