Not all Americans agree Putin is working FOR America. Since WWII there have been two countries in contention to be the world leader, the U.S. and Russia. Russia has made it clear that they intend to be the leader and they will do anything and everything to get their way. Putin sees Trump as a useful asset to help him with his mission. So far Putin's plan is right on track. Trump's plan is to continue to sell tacky merchandise at endless rallies in an effort to keep his dopey followers in line, while getting rich from foreign and domestic financial investment. It might not be a coincidence that several of Trump's businesses are entangled with Russian financiers inside Putin's circle.

Of course, Putin condemns Liberalism. He recently told the Financial Times that Liberalism has "outlived its purpose." Trump agrees. If liberal democracy is obsolete, then freedoms are obsolete, the rule of law is obsolete and that human rights are obsolete. Most of us know what is truly obsolete is authoritarianism, personality cults and the rule of oligarchs. At least 63 Russian elites and oligarchs have invested around $100 million into Trump-brand real estate in southern Florida. Do we really want the United States to end up ruled by oligarchs? The free press is not the enemy of the people.
