The mob even gets this and has a rule that their enemies keep a hands off policy on their families.
Gallagher and the other two guys trump pardoned were murderers who were killing civilians, their cases involved provable criminal violations...Gallagher had people testifying and reporting other incidents besides what he was charged with, one shooting a girl in a Hajib, and an old man carrying water in the street. No charges were brought on that, but his fellow soldiers did not like him shooting civilians.
My guess is that many on the right do not know why Gallagher was acquitted, I hear noise about him being innocent and charges being trumped up. He was toast... until the medic who was standing right there and had testified that he saw Gallagher kill the teen. For some reason and I'd sure like to know why this witness was given immunity to say he had been the one to kill the kid. That is what resulted in an acquittal, not his innocence.

Just an observation, but if I were a snipper or a seal...I would not wait if I had reason to believe that a person or animal were wearing a bomb, waiting gets groups of our people (this includes our alies) murdered en mass!

I know why he was acquitted! He killed people with his bombs some military and many civilians and he got sick of rules of engagement That gave the enemy the first shot.

I agree with Rose 42, let it go. Just the fact that you keep beating this dead horse proves that you've never been in theater. Things go down and soldiers have to deal in split second decisions. For themselves and their fellow soldiers, because each other is all we have in the moment. I turned down 1st Sarge twice, Didn't want to push a desk wanted to push troops. Can't do that behind desk. I'm a field soldier, hated being in garrison. Did I always do the right thing? God will judge me on that. I do know in battle, as a leader, your people are looking at you to get them out.
