There are plenty of conspiracy theories on both left and right, you don’t see me posting crap that Trump was responsible for the suicide death of the Deutchabank loan officer who handled his account because such rubbish just muddies the waters, and like similar crap about Clinton’s is laughably false. For what ever reason those on the right seem to be more willing to accept this nonsense than those on the left. That said the reason the you tube crap he links to is not credible is two fold. The first is that the majority of their producers do not follow basic journalistic or academic standards of fact checking, vetting sources or providing legitimate supporting information. Perhaps once in a blue moon he stumbles upon something that is true but much like bobbing for apples in a cesspool by the time you get one it is ruined. The second is more complicated. Most Americans now get their news from social media feeds like Facebook. The companies providing these services make money from people spending as much time as possible on the platforms. They have developed algorithms that look at the behavior of the accounts and feed similar stories to those that viewers pursue. This builds a loop of ignorance that reinforces the beliefs of the viewer. If you click on stories about nonsense like the “war on Christmas” you will be rewarded by having your page populated with stories about other fake outrages like men in little girls restrooms, Christians ministers forced to officiate same sex marriage. The best bet to avoid this is to research legitimate news organizations, ignore unattributed crap on you tube and seek out knowledge rather than slurping up what is dumped in your lap.

I hear you, Kev, but what that has to do with the real issue I'm talking about is way beyond me. I'm talking about matters that I know to be true that shake out to the benefit of Trump which the MSM ignore. Many of them I know are true because I was there or have personal knowledge they are true. I know some people are more susceptible to false stories because they like the sound of them but I don't think the right is any more gullible than the left to these stories, in fact I think there is ample reason to believe the right might be less gullible than the left. One good example of the left jumping on a false story is the way they jumped on the crap surrounding the Kavanaugh hearings which the left drug out and has since been shown to be completely false. Not only that, the whole Mueller hearings simply wreaks with dishonest tactics and guess who originated them. Remove the filter you have when viewing this stuff and try to look at it without bias. I know this may be all but impossible for you.
