Trump's press conference today was the best I've seen yet. He was three beers honest with the nasty press corps.
If you hated Trump, you really hated him during this press conference. Trump smirked with victory after every statement he made.
It's what everyone thinks but dares not say.
I've been accused of that from when I was a kid.
Thanks for understanding, and noticing, and....approving.
I suspect that you are quite the same.

Go Trump!!! And thanks

Wherever it is you have your head buried it's time to get a firm grip and pull it out. Look around... there is so much more than what's covered in the phone call going on that it is as irrelevant as who the whistleblower is.

There were months of events going on that portray a picture of Giuliani mucking about unofficially in state's business. This was not done through official channels, and trump's personal attorney had no official reason to be there in the first place.

The phone call is what many other things spun out of in order to understand what was being talked about, but it is other testimonies and pieces of real evidence such as emails and texts that fill in the blanks.

No trump is not being impeached for the phone call, he is being impeached for using his personal attorney to conduct official state's business as an unofficial representative working outside of normal channels. Real business such as the white house maintains was taking place should have been being done by real officials working in official channels.

Trump was pressuring the Ukraine for his own purposes with military aid that was not his to bargain with. He likely did this at the wishes of Putin, because I'm sure Putin had a problem with the US giving the Ukraine anti tank weapons that would have decimated Russian tanks when they conducted an attack by Russia that was not supposed to be happening as far as the rest of the world and the US was concerned.

If you think the whistle blower is irrelevant, you might want to consider this:

Eric Ciaramella, the CIA analyst who focused on Ukraine and Russia (he speaks Russian, Ukrainian and Arabic), was detailed in 2015 to the NSC where he worked under Obama's NSA, Susan Rice. Now that we know Ciaramella is Schiff's groomed whistleblower, isn't it interesting that he is cited in a key passage of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report?

This tells us that Claramella was inside this covert operation well before president Trump's phone call with president Zelensky.

Moreover, your obsession with the "impeach Trump" narrative, which is a pack of lies, has blinded you to a critical point that has been pointed out several times, here and on other threads.

Ranger quoted the applicable Article and Section of the US Constitution and you ignored it. So, here we go again.

A US president can choose anyone he wants to act as an emissary, an envoy, a messenger, a negotiator, as a representative of him personally or of the Executive Branch.

In 1991, when Valerie Jarrett (Chicago lawyer) was deputy chief of staff to Mayor Richard Daley, she interviewed Michelle Robinson for an opening in the mayor's office, after which she immediately offered Robinson the job. Robinson asked for time to think and also asked Jarrett to meet her fiancé, Barack Obama. The three ended up meeting for dinner. After the dinner, Robinson accepted the job with the mayor's office. It was at this time that Jarrett reportedly took the couple under her wing and introduced them to a wealthier and better-connected Chicago than their own.

On November 14, 2008, as president-elect, Obama selected Valerie Jarrett to serve as his senior advisor and as assistant to the president for intergovernmental relations and public liaison. Since Obama had not yet been sworn in as POTUS, this was not an official or constitutional appointment that was confirmed by the advice and consent of the senate. And, after he was sworn into office, no official confirmation was necessary.

Jarrett served Obama as his personal confidante and adviser throughout his two terms in office.

In 2012, Obama dispatched Jarrett as his personal emissary to a series of secret meetings with Iranian officials led by a personal representative of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The objective of Jarrett's meetings with Iranian officials was to begin more substantive negotiations over the Iranian nuclear program.

The role of special presidential envoys, with or without formal rank or title, is enshrined in US history and embodied in the Appointments Clause of the US Constitution.

Another thing, when the reps call witnesses, Schiff has changed the rules to keep them from testifying.
A downright coup from day one.

By now you all, know that I support Trump. That is why I watched Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, for again for the millionth time. That movie applied in the case of the Russian Hoax. This case with the Ukrainian Hoax is different. The whole chain of command broke down in the State Department. Why did the chain of command in the State Department break down so violently?

First of all, the chain of command started to breakdown when Obama left the White House. The coup or mutiny began in November of 2016. First of all, this is a failure of the Commander-in-Chief of the previous administration. A strong commander, keeps discipline amongst its people even if command is changed. Command was transferred from President Obama to President Trump. But certain people did not respect that change. That is called treason and mutiny and since they took action on it is called a coup.

Every person in the service of the government who disobeyed a standing order, which transcends presidency under National Security is guilty of treason, if they leaked any damaging information on the President of the United States. Donald Trump was not a military member before he entered the highest office in the land. As a result, he either didn't understand the military culture, or he was too forgiving. Whatever the case, the facts are facts, any breach or compromise of classified information is considered treason at the highest extent of the law. Punishment of treason is death.

To be elected President you need not be a member of the military however it does help. If nothing else it provides a manner in which the chain of command can be observed and the ranks tightened up. It provides a certain "military bearing" when dealing with issues.

Donald Trump does not have that military bearing, however the constitution did not want a military commander being commander-in-chief because of the human nature that can occur under military bearing. Anyone who has served in the military for any extent over two years understands clearly what I mean. There are problems with a chain of command, that is why being a civilian is most suited for the position of Commander-in-chief.

Now, if we are going to be fair with our fellow citizens, who happen to be Democrat, we must understand(which does not mean agree with, but just understand) that they are right on one issue: The circumstances that occurred as a result of the election of Donald Trump, must be investigated.

But this investigation is on policy issues and not legal or criminal issues. There is a major difference. May be Trump attempted to change the government or drain the swamp too quickly. The American people understood but I don't think the bureaucrats or other establishment politicians understand. I am getting a deeper understanding of what really is happening and the Democrats have created a mess, that will plague the country for years to come.
