(C) Telephone Conversation with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine President Zelenskyy of Ukraine Notetakers: he White House Situation Room July 25, 2019, 9:03 - 9:33 a.m. EDT Residence (S/NF)

The President: Congratulations on a great victory. We all watched from the United States and you did a terrific job. The way you came from behind, somebody who wasn't given much of a chance, and you ended up winning easily. It's a fantastic achievement. Congratulations.

President Zelenskyy: You are absolutely right Mr. President. We did win big and we worked hard for this. We worked a lot but I would like to confess to you that I had an opportunity to learn from you. We used quite a few of your skills and knowledge and were able to use it as an example for our elections and yes it is true that these were unique elections. We were in a unique situation· that we were able to achieve a unique success. I'm able to tell you the following; the first time you called me to congratulate me when I won my presidential election, and the second time you are now calling me when my party won the parliamentary election. I think I should run more often so you can call me more often and we can talk over the phone more often.

The President: [laughter] That's a very good idea. I think your country is very happy about that.

President Zelenskyy: Well yes, to tell you the truth, we are trying to work hard because we wanted to drain the swamp here in our country. We brought in many many new people. Not the old politicians, not the typical politicians, because we want to have a new format and a new type of government. You are a great teacher for us and in that.

The President: Well it1s·very nice of you to say that. I will say that we do a lot for Ukraine. We spend a lot of effort and a lot of time. Much more than the European countries are doing and they should be helping you more than they are. Germany does almost nothing for you. All they do is talk and I think it's something that you should really ask them about. When I was speaking to Angela Merkel she talks Ukraine, but she doesn't do anything. A lot of the European countries are the same way so I think it's something you want to look at but the United States has been very very good to Ukraine. I wouldn't say that it's reciprocal necessarily because things are happening that are not good but the United States has been very very good to Ukraine.

President Zelenskyy: Yes you are absolutely right. Not only 100%, but actually 1000% arid I can tell you the following; I did talk to Angela Merkel and I did meet with her. I also met and talked with Macron and I told them that they are not doing quite as much as they need to be doing on the issues with the sanctions. They are not enforcing the sanctions. They are not working as much as they should work for Ukraine. It turns out that even though logically, the European Union should be our biggest partner but technically the United States is a much bigger partner than the European Union and I'm very grateful to you for that because the United States is doing quite a lot for Ukraine. Much more than the European Union especially when we are talking about sanctions against the Russian Federation. I would also like to thank you for your great support in the area of defense. We are ready to continue to cooperate for the next steps, specifically we are almost ready to buy more Javelins from the United States for defense purposes.

The· President: I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it, I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike… I guess you have one of your weal thy people... The server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation … I think you're surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I .would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. As you saw yesterday, that whole nonsense ended with a very poor performance by a man named Robert Mueller, an incompetent performance, but they say a lot of it started with Ukraine. Whatever you can do, it's very important that you do it if that's possible.

President Zelenskyy: Yes it is very important for me and everything that you just mentioned earlier. For me as a President, it is very important and we are open for any future cooperation. We are ready to open a new page on cooperation in relations between the United· States and Ukraine. For that· purpose, I just recalled our ambassador from United States and he will be replaced by a very competent and very experienced ambassador who will work hard on making sure that our two nations are getting closer. I would also like and hope to see him having your trust and your confidence and have persona1 relations with you so we can cooperate even more so. I will personally tell you that one of my assistants spoke with Mr. Giuliani just recently and we are hoping very much that Mr. G1uliani will be able to travel to Ukraine and we will meet once he comes to Ukraine. I just wanted to assure you once again that you have nobody but friends around us. I will make sure that I surround myself with the best and most experienced people. I also wanted to tell you that we are friends. We are great friends and you Mr. President have friends in our country so we can continue our strategic partnership. I also plan to surround myself with great people and in addition to that investigation, I guarantee as the President of Ukraine that all the investigations will be done openly and candidly. That I can assure you.

The President: Good because I· heard you had a prosecutor who· was very good and he was shut down and that's really unfair. A lot of people are talking about that, the way they shut your very good prosecutor down and you had some very bad people involved. Mr. Giuliani is a highly respected man. He was the mayor bf New York City, a great mayor, and I would like him to call you. I will ask him to call you along with the Attorney General. Rudy very much knows what's happening and he is a very capable guy. If you could speak to him that would be great. The former ambassador from the United $tates, the woman, was bad news and the people she was dealing with in the Ukraine were bad news so I just want to let you know that. The other thing, There's a lot of talk about Biden's son that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so what ever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it. It sounds horrible to me.

President Zelenskyy: I wanted to tell you about the prosecutor. First of a11 I understand and I'm knowledgeable about the situation. Since we have won the absolute majority in our Parliament, the next prosecutor general will be 100% my person, my candidate, who will be approved, by the parliament and will start as a new prosecutor in September. He or she will look into the situation, specifically to the company that you mentioned in this issue. The issue of the investigation of the case is actually the issue of making sure to restore the honesty so we will take care of that and wi11·wo:tk on the investigation of the case. On top of that, I would kindly ask you if you have any additional information that you can provide to µs, it would be very helpful for the investigation to make sure that we administer justice in our country with regard to the Ambassador to the United States from Ukraine as far as I recall her name was Ivanovicli. It was great that you were the first one who told me that she was a bad ambassador because I agree with you 100%. Her attitude towards me was far from the best as she admired the previous President and she was on his side. She would not accept me as a new President well enough.

The President: Well, ·she's going to go through some things. I will have Mr. Giuliani give you a call and I am. also going to have Attorney General Barr call and we will get to· the bottom of it. I'm sure you will figure it out. I heard the prosecutor was treated very badly and he was a very fair prosecutor so good luck with everything. Your. economy is going to get better and better I predict. You have a lot of assets. It's a great country. I have many Ukrainian friends, their incredible ·people.

President Zelenskyy: I would like to tell you that I also have quite a few·Ukrain1an friends that live iri the United· States. ·Actually last time I traveled to the United States, I stayed in New York near Central Park and I stayed at the Trump Tower. I will talk to them and I hope to see them again in the future. I also wanted to thank you for your invitation to visit the United States, specifically Washington DC. On the other hand, I also want to ensure you that we will be very serious about the case and will work on the investigation. As to the economy, there is much potential for our two countries and one of the issues that is very important for Ukraine is energy independence. I believe we can be very successful and cooperating on energy independence with United States. We are already working on cooperation. We are buying American oil but I am very hopeful for a future meeting. We will have more time and more opportunities to discuss these opportunities and get to know each other better. I would like to thank you very much for your support.

The President: Good. Well, thank you very much and I appreciate that. I will tell Rudy and Attorney General Barr to call. Thank you. Whenever you would like to come to the White House, feel free to call. Give us a date and we'll work that out. I 1ook forward to seeing you.

President Zelenskyy: Thank you very much. I would be very happy to come and would be happy to meet with you personally and I get to know you better. I am looking forward to our meeting arid I also would like to invite you to visit Ukraine and come to the city bf Kyiv which is a beautiful city. We have a beautiful country Which would welcome you. On the other hand, I believe that on September we will be in Poland and we can meet in Poland hopefully. After that, it might be a very good idea for you to.travel to Ukraine. We can either take my plane and go to Ukraine or we can take your plane, which is probably much better than mine.

The President: Okay, we can work that out. I look forward to seeing you in Washington and maybe in Poland because I think we are going to be there at that time.

President · Zelenskyy: Thank you very much Mr. President.

The President:· Congratulations on a fantastic job you've done. The whole world was watching. I'm not sure it was so much of an upset but congratulations.

President Zelenskyy: Thank you Mr. President bye-bye.

Thank you I started a similar topic, The People need to read the transcript. This transcript is the official Transcript of the call. It was done by transcribers so it is a summary of the call. But one thing must be pointed out. This transcript is a TRANSCRIPT it is not word for word because do you think that President Trump knows the Ukraine language? Does the President of Ukraine know the English Language? No. This obviously was compiled from people listening on the call through translators too. So. This is the best most accurate information on the call.

With that being said, the president is head of the Executive Department, and therefore can be looked at like a Sheriff, in a way. So the Top Law Enforcement is the President which delegates his authority to the Justice Department. He also has the power to deputize, anyone else with executive powers and privilege, so Giuliani was commissioned to research the issue. Giuliani along with Jay Sekulow are the attorneys for the President. And in defending their client, they have the right to investigate the case. Therefore, the Democrats really have nothing.

I am so glad you posted your version and I posted mine. The reason for this is mine was taken from the NY Times website. And yours is from the White House. Now get this since they are posted on two different threads we can see if the NY Times doctored it. LOL. There is no Quid Pro Quo. Plus, even if there was, like in the case of Joe Biden's statement on C-Span, we can see the prejudice.

Yes, I said it, this movement to impeach the president is Discrimination and Prejudice. The Discrimination and Prejudice come from the establishment, "How dare an outsider come in and tell me how I'm supposed to work. Even if it is against the Law." And that is exactly what the bureaucrats in the Intelligence Department are actually doing.

Drain the swamp? President Zelenskyy has a similar pool of muck since President Obama (Hitler's useful idiot) with the help of the CIA, Biden, State Dept, and George Soros, sparked the Ukrainian Revolution, installed Socialist Poroshenko, and staffed their bureaucracy with Swedish and Ukrainian Bandera Gang neo-nazis.

I've gone through both. Remember the terrible hurricane from a few years ago in Puerto Rico? The Mayor of San Juan and her union buddies were hoarding our aid and getting richer from it. Who was blamed? Trump of course. Here is the no quid pro quo in one line, too many have short attention spans. "Whatever you can do, it's very important that you if that's possible." Not something like do this and I'll sell you the Javelins cheaper. That would be a quid pro quo.

Hey Dick, Head over to the title page of your transcript and read line 4 or 5. It depends on your margin settings on which line it is. Would you please tell me what that "exact: copy says. I rest my case, Dick.

You think President Trump, President of the United States, cannot use his personal attorney to investigate?

Let me present to you Article II of the United States Constitution:

Section 1. 1. The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the
Vice-President, chosen for the same Term, be elected, as follows.

2. Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives
to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall
be appointed an Elector.

3. (The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with
themselves. And they shall make a List of all the Persons voted for, and of the Number of Votes for each; which List they shall sign and certify, and transmit
sealed to the Seat of the Government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate. The President of the Senate shall, in the Presence of the
Senate and House of Representatives, open all the Certificates, and the Votes shall then be counted. The Person having the greatest Number of Votes shall be
the President, if such Number be a Majority of the whole Number of Electors appointed; and if there be more than one who have such Majority, and have an
equal Number of Votes, then the House of Representatives shall immediately chuse by Ballot one of them for President; and if no Person have a Majority, then
from the five highest on the List the said House shall in like Manner chuse the President. But in chusing the President, the Votes shall be taken by States, the
Representation from each State have one Vote; a quorum for this Purpose shall consist of a Member or Members from two thirds of the States, and a Majority of
all the States shall be necessary to a Choice. In every Case, after the Choice of the President, the Person having the greatest Number of Votes of the Electors
shall be the Vice President. But if there should remain two or more who have equal Votes, the Senate shall chuse from them by Ballot the Vice-President.) (Note:
Superseded by the Twelfth Amendment.)

4. The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the
United States.

5. No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of
President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident
within the United States.

6. In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the same
shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law, provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and
Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be
elected. (Note: Changed by the Twenty-Fifth Amendment.)

7. The President shall, at stated Times, receive for his Services, a Compensation, which shall neither be increased nor diminished during the Period for which he
shall have been elected, and he shall not receive within that Period any other Emolument from the United States, or any of them.

8. Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation: —“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the
Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Section 2.1 The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual
Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any subject relating to
the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to Grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of
Impeachment.

2. He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall
nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court,
and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress
may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.

3. The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of
their next Session.

Section 3.He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with
Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he
shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.

Section 4. The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or
other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Therefore the President is complying with the constitution Section 2.2 and Section 3.

Do you not know what powers is in vested in the President? Pity.

I posted the Article II powers and nothing in the transcript violates the constitution. Also, the hearsay evidence of the diplomats gossiping is no evidence that can be used in Section 4."The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."

First there is no Quid Pro Quo, therefore no Bribery. There is no Treason here, which is obvious. Now the argument remains, "High Crimes and Misdemeanors".

According to Article two powers, The president of the United States is in command of the DOJ, and by delegation he can "deputize" any citizen, for any commission. Therefore Rudy's involvement is justified. So if asking the foreign leader for assistance in an investigation, regardless if it is a political opponent or not, for political opponents are not above the law, is justified.

The President has this power it was posted in the Article II powers. Congress does have the right to limit that power however, to prevent tyranny. But that doesn't apply here either. The President has the right to commission any agent to speak for him. In this case Rudy. But not only was Rudy chose, so was AG Barr. Therefore, The president was well within his right.

1. by the Constitution the claim of investigating a political opponent falls apart.
2. by the Constitution the appointment of Rudy, a private attorney for the President falls apart.

So what else do you have? What else could the Congress have? If you look at the Department that includes the Diplomats, which according to Article II powers, the president can remove them at any time for any reason. So, the Democrats argument falls apart.

So it would be prudent for the House of Representatives to drop this impeachment thing..........................Wasn't that what was said to me on this website in 2014 when I charged Obama with Treason?...................hmmm one has to wonder....

See Democrats don't know when to throw in the towel. Conservatives pray to God. And when God is invoked, the hypocracy comes to light. That is very interesting.....Let me remind you of 2014 on this website, "Topic: Praying for America: Through a Psalm of David" was born because of President Obama's impeachable offenses. It is amazing that the Democrats don't follow my lead, if they truly believe Trump is Guilty. Pathetic.

Donald Trump was the only 2016 presidential candidate that could stand up to the Almighty Left Extreme Democrats. He has not only weathered their attacks but has accomplished so much good for the country it is unbelievable. But like the Son of God, Jesus; Donald Trump is being wrongfully accused and is being politically crucified. How many innocent men will suffer at the hands of evil-doers?

We should be fighting the Cartels in Mexico, instead of unlawfully prosecuting a President. That is my opinion! I'm sorry, people are dying at the hands of an in acting government of the United States and I'm sick of it.

Bull shit happens. Especially with people like you.

a transcript is an exact copy of an event. A memorandum is a recap WITHOUT Exactness. Read the 4th line of the title. Take a reading comprehensive course. Learn how to us a dictionary. Then figure out the difference.

Trump is a liar. He calls it an exact copy. It isn't
It is an abbreviated recap, as a memorandum

So what you are saying is that we don't speak English? I posted the definitions as they appear in the dictionary and how they are used in English speaking countries. Does this mean you are changing the definition to fit your narratives?
