Yes we are......But if we 'stay the course', NEVER SWAY FROM THE CONSTITUTION, Counter the Prog lies every time they spout their BS, and stop the corruption at the ballot boxes, the tide will slowly turn ....Legally. They will then up the ante and degenerate into 'Full Antifa Mode' and we counter with full Amendment 2 Mode in self defense and vindicate the sacrifices our Founders and the Greatest Generation made for this Greatest of all Countries EVER in the History of the World !!!

For the Democrats where the end justifies the means there are no laws. Also, In the impeachment process, their are no rules! By ignoring rules, process, procedure, laws, precedent, the bill of rights, constitutional law, civility, coupled with the unbridled power, they can pretty much have their way with the citizens they govern.

I have a feeling that businesses and then everyday people will be leaving. Kind of like what happened in Ca. Lots left. Only the poor and those too stupid to know better stayed. My friend John is one of the poor vets, so he stayed.

Possibly, because the promise of being taken care of from the cradle (if you are allowed to make it there) to the grave with no personal responsibility is very appealing. Of course, most do not understand, like a fish, there is a hook under the bait. Remember, the Russians thought communism would be better than the tsars. Cuba thought Castro would be better than Batista. Iran thought his successor would be better than the Shah. You get the idea.

Then you have to think 'Do I want a nanny government choosing my every move? Or do I want the freedom I used to have?'

Actually if you paid attention to political rhetoric from Democrats that just got elected, especially in Mississippi they ran as Conservatives. Pro gun, religious liberty, etc. that’s o.k. with me if that’s actually how they legislate. To many people just look for a D or an R. and never see where these clowns stand on issues. Just pump their fist when their party wins as if any of these clown really care about you or me.

I want the freedoms I have now and the ones I use to have.

People may have had ovommitcare but they couldn't use it. The deductibles were too high and finding good doctors was impossible. It's like having a BMW in your driveway (these cars are expensive but always need repairs) but you can't afford the gas to drive it. Who cares if you have ovommitcare if you can't use it???

You’re full of malarkey. We have it and it’s a great BMW policy we would have never been able to get it if not for Obamacare.

Yeah, the big question is, if America does turn blue, what in God's name will our nation look like when the socialist progs get done with it?

The progressive apparatchiks pounding their keyboards (see below) all over the net don't have a clue, and those here on OPP are afraid to paint a picture for us showing just what it is they think America will look like when their commissars are finished destroying the constitution and implementing the progressive agenda.

After hearing pokeyhontus' proposals of what she would do with our tax codes, even Bill Gates said, "F**k that!"

Progressive apparatchik.
Progressive apparatchik....

In NC, Republicans fought tooth and nail against both federal and state court rulings that the both state and Congressional districts were illegal gerrymanders. Even though the state is split 50/50 between parties for a decade now we have had a Congressional delegation that was 10-3 Republican ('because we couldn't draw a map that made it 11-2') and at the state level, until this last election cycle, had a super majority of Republicans in the General Assembly. Even now, after the SCOTUS ruled that it is not in the business of judging political power, and state and federal courts have once again ruled the districts illegal, the Republican party of NC is dragging it's feet in the re-districting process.

The economic and demographic development of NC will eventually oust the Republican party from the majority because they have done nothing but aggravate the urban population of the state. Those areas have already built a blue wall around themselves. For example, the so-called 'bathroom bill' is DOA. City police have no interest in the policy, and how many LGBT folks remain in rural areas when they can flee to the cities where they won't be harassed? Whether it's Charlotte, the Triangle, Triad, or any of the other major population centers, unless state law enforcement monitors bathrooms the bill is meaningless.

I have asked the question before whether Republicans support gerrymandering and the gist of the answers were to get over it. I've gotten over it. Gerrymandering is the way the game is played, and I see no reason why Democrats should not play by the same rules.

I was told I was wrong about gerrymandering, so I've changed my mind.

To balance the scales I’d have to agree with you. The last election didn’t make sense the state went blue big time but Trump won, I don’t think so, it doesn’t add up.

I thought I’ve read you were for universal health care, excuse me if I’m wrong, but I was wondering on you take with Warren’s proposal for it and so much more, do you think she’s out of touch?
