During WW 2 an Englishman, a Frenchman and a Russian were asked to tell what happiness was.
The Englisman said "Spending time at the club playing darts, quaffing a few and dancing.
The Frenchman said "A beautiful woman, a bottle of wine and a romantic spot."
The Russian said "When the secret police break down your door and ask Ivanovich? Ivanovich? and you say no, he lives upstairs.
Mine is a country united, living in peace, family unity and understanding others lot in life
What is your defination of happiness?

Sitting on my front porch in the morning drinking a hot cup of coffee, smoking a good cigar and watching the sunrise.

Sitting in a 12-step meeting talking completely openly and honestly about our lives, and hardly knowing some of the people.

I can really identify with you. I am approaching my 45th year in AA. I not only became sober, but learned how a group working together can accomplish miracles. It is too bad that the media and certain elected parties would work together to destroy and learn to work together for progress. Their methods have the wheels of progress going in retrogression.
