Yes, m'lady. Although my original source was TPM, the letter can be found in the following link...

Lemme see here, president Trump told Erdogan to not be a fool, a tough guy, told him he would be responsible for slaughtering thousands of people, and would be responsible for destroying the Turkish economy if he invaded Syria. Sounds like a reasonable request to me given the extremely fragile situation over there. There is no country in ME that holds a stacked deck, the ME is a house of cards.

I'm not asking you to post a link..

I'm asking you to post the entire letter....

Word for word...

And how dare you call Lon a slattern He has needs as much as the next man...Who are you to judge

Thanks for defending my honor, young IceBack. But, WoodGuru meant no harm in an honest mistake. BB used to misspell my name all the time...I think it was on purpose.

BTW, my last post before this one contains a link with the entire letter in its original form.

That was quite a jump, Slattern posted a link to the letter. I go pretty light on the insults and you know it. I read the letter as it was posted on KOS, and was watching MSNBC which had two shows that posted it and talked about it. The fact that it is real and I have properly represented how bad it is is not in question.

You post the accusation, then rely on others to back it up.........I'll leave it there California.

I realize it was an honest mistake .. Thought a little humor might diffuse the situation...

And I appreciate the links...

My point is that too often we have threads that only contain parts of the whole... If the entire letter were posted then we could pick it apart like the reasonable crows we are.....

Sorry it took me a while to remember how to get the original link I found the letter on, as I was somewhat unfamiliar with the source, TPM...which was mentioned in my original post.

After following this to Trish Regan, I am doubting the authenticity of the "letter." See attached from her page and zoom in on the post script...."Does Putin like me? Like you know, "like" like me?" Also, notice that there is a reference to an enclosure, but it is not listed as an enc, as all government letters show that encloses a document. I wonder, if we will awaken tomorrow to learn this came from the Babyloon Bee?

This does appear to be a joke

For whatever reason, that postscript does not appear in the link(s) I provided.

If it indeed turns out to be a hoax/joke, we'll soon enough find out. By all accounts, it is not a hoax.

However, time will tell.

The date is not in the right place.... Who knows, it may be fake... like CNN video of Turkey attacking Syria.

I was shocked at that...

To be honest, I see nothing wrong with the letter... It appears hastily written...But content wise I would object..

I can't recall anyone (ever) accusing Trump of being diplomatic with his phrasing... He shoots from the hip...IMO

I found it typical of modern day media. There used to be a saying "Trust, but verify." I no longer trust, I ask for verification and original documents.

While Woodguru appears to take umbrage at such a lack of trust....

I agree with you... I can't remember if I sent a PM or not, but thanks again for providing those files concerning CAIR and the FBI investigation... I reviewed them this summer and I can certainly see where the concern with CAIR comes from... Indeed, it's not a matter of infiltration, the organization seems to have been a front from the start...

A decade or so ago I purchased an apartment in a new complex...It was on the top floor and I loved the view... But when we went in to renovate it there was water damage to the ceiling.... Turns out that in an effort to make the complex more "western" in appearance the construction company had attached shingles to the roof...With twelve inch steel spikes.. Every top floor apartment in the complex leaked... The company told me that they would fix it... But I opted for a refund and told them "it's not a matter of something being broken, it's a matter of being built wrong"..

CAIR appears to be a similar case... No matter who is running or affiliated to it now, I would never trust their motives....

Apologies for the long tangent...
