But then trump can convince his base and the very gullible cons in congress of almost anything.

You are pathetic, you think supporting a president means acting like the economy is great. Reality means paying attention to economic signs and indicators, not burying your head in the sand and believing everything will be great. Watching and discussing the signs is not rooting for things to go south. You would not be a traitor if you got intelligent and started acknowledging and discussing the realities of an economy getting unstable.

You are the party and people that could watch the economy to go as bad as possible for the last two years of Bush's terms and blame the economy on Obama even though every possible index stabilized and went better, except the debt, which was a function of the $1.4 Trillion budget deficit republicans under Bush ran up.

It is virtually the job expected of the Fed chairman to represent strength and stability, everything fine so as to stabilize markets. Spending $53 Billion then $75 Billion more propping up markets is not exactly everything fine nothing to worry about...

You want to bet whether the stock market reacts by Friday, and who they believe? Do you think investors believe an "everything is fine" or actions such as spending $130 Billion dollars propping up the market?

You are pathetic, you think condemning the president for everything he does and attacking him and his family with endless lies and slander somehow qualifies you as a credible human being.

It only qualifies you as a leftist, which makes you America's enemy.

Actually they are working and not working. What did you expect, instant success? These things take time. But as things were, it was not working in America's best interest. Sacrifices have to be made to cure the overall picture. Hopefully our negotiators will get most of if not all of the jobs done satisfactorily where we can embrace open trade with various differing agreements with trading partners all over the world while protecting our own industries and American jobs, technology and creativity for a much stronger base then we had even a few years back.

In Chicago, our police have been working without a contract for over three years. And that is just with a little bit over 25,000 men. hen they eventually get an agreement, they will immediately have to start over on another agreement. And you want a quick 30 day agreement with China. Who are you kidding. We knpw what you want. Just another cheap excuse to attack President Trump. Pathetic.

This week, and how about the end of the week? You get a bit ahead of yourself with a twitchy market that is poised for a hardcore fall.

I day traded in the market leading into 2007/2008 crash, it was no fun, but an up and down volatile ride it was. I was riding stocks bought at highs on Monday or Tuesday and selling them by Thursday before they went down again. I actually am setting some cash aside to put in the market, there is a lot of money to be made in the up and down fluctuations leading into a total dump, then when it takes a dump a pure hardcore fortune can be made when it's at rock bottom.

In the aftermath of 2008 I came up with four stocks that went from under 20 cents to over 20 dollars, one was making my investors over $200,000 on $2500 worth of stock.

My point is that today's "fine" doesn't mean a thing

Having existing trade was a good thing, little tweaks could have been done in important areas and select industries that have inequities. Cutting off from China is forcing them to make deals with other countries, deals that will persevere and cut into getting trade back in the future. The Chinese are also highly industrious and it doesn't take them much to create a new manufacturing base that serves their own domestic market to where it never will resume buying american products.

Actually the reality is what the facts were. The market enjoyed a slow steady recovery to where it had been posting new record highs for some time under Obama. Trump took over to a market that was still in that same stable growth. Trump started making changes that predictably make for volatility and change. You can't cut taxes that cause an increase in the deficit to a Trillion dollars, trash sales for farmers and ranchers that cause us to subsidize their losses, disrupt trade agreements in ways that cause turmoil to industry, run up tariffs that inflate the cost of steel and aluminum and not see increased prices a year or two down the road. Trump jumped at actions without listening to advisers who could have told him what the results would be, now we will be paying for it.

Obama did the things that made the bad economy go well, Trump did all the things that will make a good economy take a dump. For me to sing any praises to Trump I'd need to see him taking the advise of advisers that give him good advise, and he hasn't done that.

So you think ignoring what is going on in the economy will prevent a recession? It is what it is whether you can accept it or not.
