Trump makes even the horror and sadness about 9/11 instead about him. No freaking shame.

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump honored thousands that died as a result of the Sept. 11 terror attacks during remarks at the Pentagon Wednesday.

But the president also didn't miss a chance to again claim he helped in the aftermath of the terror attacks at ground zero.

"I was looking out of a window from a building at Midtown Manhattan directly at the World Trade Center when I saw a second plane at a tremendous speed go into the second tower. It was then that I realized the world was going to change. I was no longer going to be, and it could never, ever be that innocent place that I thought it was," Trump said.

"Soon after, I went down to Ground Zero with men who worked for me to try to help in any little way that we could," he continued. "We were not alone. So many others were scattered around trying to do the same. They were all trying to help."

Brave and honorable people do not boast about the good they do to help others in times of strife or troubles. It is indecent to do so. It is petty and base. It is amoral.

Evidence seems to show he was never there yet let's take it he was, everyday, clawing with his bare hands at the rubble, fingers bleeding, weeping and desperate to save these victims, ruining ten or twenty thousand dollars suits. That does not excuse this terrible fact about the POTUS. It was indecent to do so. It was petty and base to do so. It is amoral to do so. (Though as usual the other tactic is to make what he has said and done was a ridiculously non-burger.)

Refusing to recognize the president of America is an embarrassment, a disgrace to the image of our country, to act that way, by challenging me instead. What he did for the umpteenth and on other numerous occasions is clear to most sane and honest people but what it seems many of you refuse to see. If I tried to defend myself, I would be the same as Trump. But, hey, swing away, keep that blind eye. Or not respond, you other popular tactic with undeniable truth.

Try to imagine our great, and real, First Responders bragging about what they did at the World Trade Center. No, all these men grieved that they could not do enough and be silent. Compare Trump to them who instead was bragging about how his Tower was now the tallest in lower Manhattan (a lie, of course, besides being sickeningly pathological narcissism), and let his prejudice reign once again over any sense of moral authority and proclaimed thousand and thousands of Muslims celebrated in NJ. His words:
Pants on Fire!
Trump
"I watched in Jersey City, N.J., where thousands and thousands of people were cheering" as the World Trade Center collapsed.

— Donald Trump on Saturday, November 21st, 2015 in comments during a speech
Fact-checking Trump's claim that thousands in New Jersey cheered when World Trade Center tumbled

By Lauren Carroll on Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 at 6:17 p.m.

Arguing that there are terrorist sympathizers in the United States, Donald Trump says he saw "thousands" of New Jerseyans celebrating after the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

"I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down," the Republican presidential candidate said at a Nov. 21 rally in Birmingham, Ala. "And I watched in Jersey City, N.J., where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering."

Brave and honorable people do not boast about the good they do to help others in times of strife or troubles. It is indecent to do so. Now excuse this terrible fact about the POTUS, never recognizing the president of America is mistaken to act that way, by challenging whether I am brave and honorable or proclaiming that I am not thus unable to report what you refuse to see.

He wasn't boasting except in the poisonous minds of folks like yourself. He was remembering and he gave more credit to others who ran to help. You've entered into a world where your only help is for others to pray and fast for your healing.

I, like you, found nothing wrong with what our President said.

You don't get it. As I tried to help clear your minds with a comparison to a real First Responder, like a lot of war heroes, they don't talk about what they did. (Oops sorry about talking about war heroes in front of the art of the deal five time deferment (bone spurs?) draft-dodger.) And besides, from many accounts at the time, Trump was never even seen at the site. You have a sick, dishonest, megalomaniac for a president. Try to grasp that truth.

He didn't make D-Day or the Fourth about himself? Then we have different definitions of boasting. Do you follow the news? Every troubled area he goes to he boasts about what a great job he did in responding while overlooking the damage or problem. Not According To Jim Acosta And CNN

I Already Posted The Links When The Events Occurred
You Dis-Regarded Them Then, Apparently
So There's No Reason For Me To Post Them Again
Try Google "Jim Acosta On Trump's D-Day Address"
Acosta Said Trump Hit It Out Of The Park

Your Willful Ignorance Of Current Events
Takes The Onus Off Me
I've Told You Before, Op-Eds Are Not News Reports
So I'll Need VIDEO Before I'll Believe This Report Now

And I Think You're Just Trolling For Attention Anyway

Again, we are talking about discernment. I listened to the D-Day address and maybe my ear is out if tune but, and maybe due a basic distrust in his words, I saw it as a little promotional gimmick for him. First ever such celebration in the Capitol so....

When did you discover that you were an incurable and undeniable ass and decided to perfect that particular talent? To that end, you have succeeded.

I don't know if he was there of not. With that said, I would ask you, have you seen all of the footage of site for days after, neither have I. You show your distain for Trump by what ever means you can produce or attempt to convince others of your non proof. You really need to come out from under the rock you have been hiding under to stay in your own little world. You very seldom show any proof of your statements.

God Bless you for stating the obvious. Each of us who are old enough to remember where we were, and what we were doing when the tragedy of 9/11 happened, have our own personal remembrance of the happening, and the aftermath. It really is a shame that there are those who no matter what POTUS Trump says or does, finds fault with him. To have to continuously have this kind of Cr*p heaped on our heads just makes me crazy, and it labels the "nay sayers" as bigoted loonies.

Auntie, I actually like your blind faith in a thoroughly corrupted and corruptible man; there is a certain God Bless America innocence to it. But open your eyes, please, Trump is your under-the-bed monster you feared as a child.
