Mexicans haven't and are not likely to. "I would build a great wall, and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me, and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great great wall on our southern border and I’ll have Mexico pay for that wall." Trump sounds like a bully kindergartner. His syntax is beyond bizarre. Puerile or a case for scrambled brain. If a football had been tackled and talked like Trump, he would be in for an evaluation of concussion and taken out of the game.

What President Trump did was change the entire narrative of the 2016 election. The narrative, both right and left, was LGBTQ, black, Hispanic, Muslim rights. Yawn, sick of it. Gun control. Uh huh. Parts of the wall are being built and some but not all of its failure can be laid at the door of the Democrats but he does have other options.

Most of the rest of his record is somewhat mixed. He has done little about the rising national debt which is the 800 lb. gorilla in the room that no one talks about, Democrat or Republican.

Excuses for the runaway spending and increasing debt from Democrats have far outnumbered those from Republicans. The excuse has always been that ‘we owe it to ourselves.’ It is a Democratic invention.

AOC is citing this new MMT (Modern Monetary Theory or some such) which is just another name for the old monetizing of the deficit espoused by John Maynard Keynes. It is a sure fire path to inflation as demonstrated by Murray Rothbard and Ludwig von MIses. If you want to know its validity, just try to use it to pay your taxes. See how far it gets you.

The overriding issue for me is right-to-life. Donald J. Trump has done more to eliminate financing for Planned Parenthood and the barbaric horrors of abortions. That alone is enough for me to vote for him and certainly against every Democrat in that awful mix of mental midgets.

In fact, I always voted Libertarian until Trump vs Clinton. I always voted my conscience. But this time my conscience couldn’t live with not making sure the most corrupt woman in politics in the history of the world, so far as my education goes, did not get voted into office.

But, also, as I recall, there was some wobbling with Libertarians over right-to-life vs Pro-Choice, and I figured, if a platform can’t formally recognize the importance of right-to-life, they may not have their moral compass pointing the way it ought at its most basic level.
