I can’t stand Bill Maher but he is one of the few liberals to admit that he is hoping for a full blown recession because it would hurt Trump. So in reality he is rooting against America. So are most liberals with this recession hysteria.

It's just further glaring evidence that these useful idiots hate the president more than they care about America and their "fellow" Americans -- I put quotes on "fellow" because the above mentioned useful idiots are not like any real Americans I've ever met, just the phony kind who still vote (D).

Somewhere, George Soros and his one world socialist government colleagues are grinning and wringing their hands.

There is a recession hysteria? You seem to be the only one I've run across that is getting hysterical. And look at it this way--the economy has been expanding for 11 years. Seven to eight years is a typical cycle. Had Trump been a little more even-handed with his tax cut maybe he could have gotten a longer run. But he put together a tax cut for himself and his wealthy buddies and it seems the only Trickel down was for his base--though I would consider that trickel-on...

Obviously, you don't know any small to medium sized business owners who are paying more and hiring more or previously unemployed working people who can relate the details of their own good fortune.

I don't suppose many such people pass through your basement, and since you probably don't have any visitors, there is only your social life with your teddy bear and your stuffed aardvark.

Maybe if you got out more and met real people, you'd actually have something accurate to post.

I agree Seth!~He really does not understand trickle down economics works.. it's all about gravity.. money flows Down hill, not Up hill, as that would contradict physics...He says that the rich hardly pay taxes.. news flash they are just as apt as you and I regarding write offs.. anyone that has ever owned a business has itemized..trust me it's a bitch!... Not easy finding All possible write offs with the tax laws changing constantly and look for ALL possible write offs, but I guess he doesn't think that rich people do the same.. my Biggest pet peeve in regards to liberals and their whining about how rich people can afford it, why should they have to!! They made their money legally!!.. earned it, & take care of their Own families!! I am Not talkin about the Ceo's but the other employees, hell even CEO's have their share of issues, medical bills from a life threatening disease of a loved one..Those can break a person, I know! While I'm not what I'd call affluent, I am comfortable in my retirement. How in the FK does he know what anyone makes... The fact that unemployment is at an All time Low, with more of All folks workin! The fact remains the unemployment has gone down A Lot, and That had Zero to do with Obummer!

When I was going full tilt with my security business, I was travelling 8-9 months out of the year and had an excellent CPA who was a wiz with write-offs, and even then I was paying a ton of money in income taxes.

I don't imagine these Mom's basement dwelling lefties have an actual clue as to what they are spewing about.

I remain in touch with some old corporate clients' security directors with whom I became friends, and they tell me about expanded operations throughout their companies, increases in compensation due to the competitiveness employers face in an employees' market like the current one...

"Whole lotta trickle-down goin' on..🎵" 😁

In 2018, an estimated 44% of Americans paid no income tax. The top 3% paid more in taxes than the rest combined. Petey boy wants to tax the rich further. If I were rich and presented with such a proposal, I would take what part of my money that was not already in a tax shelter and put it there, then move to another country. Wealthy people are already leaving CA, NJ, and NY in droves; most for US destinations. That can change. Then what, Petey boy? Who will fund your Liberal programs then?

No one is “hoping for a full blown recession” Trumps idiotic policy make one inevitable. It is just a matter of when and how bad.

These useful fools evidently aren't capable of thinking past the next five minutes, let alone a year down the road.

Remember when AOC was asked how we would pay the $92 trillion price tag for the Dumb New Idea over ten years, and all she could come up with was "we'll pay for it?"

That's the sum total of a "liberal's" fiscal comprehension, and then they wonder why we have such a huge deficit -- Obama's "stimulus" (complete with thousands of non-existent "shovel ready" jobs) anyone?

Of course, they never own up to anything, they always blame it on the nearest Republican president; somehow Obama's added trillions are overlooked, and the final deficit amount is Bush's Fault® for going into Iraq, or for taking the first steps of ill advised "stimulus" activity. Obama's addition just sort of appeared there.

But... G-d help President Trump should he want to spend a mere $5 billion to secure our southern border.

As far as running off the rich with stifling taxes, I honestly don't think that these dumbjohns have a clue as to why anyone would want to leave their Utopian states just because they're tired of being stripped to the bone by the taxman.

After all, they are The Rich©, and The Rich© must pay Their Fair Share®

Today's Democrats are no different than a lot of small children, except that Trump's election "fundamentally transformed" them into 24/7/365 crybabies.

Seeing the agendas they support become reality would really give the little turds something to cry about.

Makes me think of a line from Ten Years After's I'd Love to Change The World:

"Tax the rich, feed the poor
til there are no
rich no more."
