Nadler Invoked Impeachment Inquiry Legally To Negate Trump's Invoking Executive Privilege

Sorry, but an impeachment inquiry Trumps the Donald's lame attempts to invoke executive privilege on things that have no such executive privilege. Trump and "his" attorneys, including white house counsel such as McGahn that are not Trump's attorneys, nor do they represent him, they represent the government and the country first as a client, have no executive privilege when the house is doing an impeachment inquiry.

Trump's attorneys are going to look lamer than they have in some of the issues that have already come before courts, congress is the final authority and has as much power as the executive when it comes to holding the president accountable, they can ask and look at anything without censure.

Sorry, but an impeachment inquiry Trumps the Donal... (show quote)

Nadler is a shyster.

Executive privilege should never have been permitted, It was OK when slime buckets like FDR & Truman used it. Now it's verboten.

Executive privilege has limits, and Barr should know what they are except he has a philosophy that the executive has endless power and can't be held accountable, and he is willing to illegally obstruct to further that end.

They are going to be beat down by the courts... and it's so cut and dried the supreme court is likely to uphold rulings regarding congressional oversight of the president.

You are never going to learn a thing about our Constitution, our system of government, our system of Justice, and our Laws as long as you remain stuck in Marx' Communist Manifesto.

Good grief, dozens of times on this forum your misrepresentations, misinterpretations, and ignorance of these things have been pointed out to you, corrections have been presented, and still you fail to comprehend any of it.

You are babbling on about laws, and lawyers and legalities. attorneys and counsels without even realizing what the hell you are talking about. Problem is there are too many goddamned lawyers in congress and they have you believing that congress is the Police Department of the US Government. Congress IS NOT the law enforcement branch of government, it is the legislative body. Congress IS NOT the "final authority" on anything that happens in court. Impeachment is a constitutional political process, it is not a legal process to be adjudicated in a court of law.

FYI: Federal Law Enforcement is entirely a function within the Executive Branch of our government. And. Nadler is a highly biased partisan hack and a total ignoramus.

How soon you people seem to have forgotten Richard Nixon.

Snip>>The United States Constitution provides that the House of Representatives "shall have the sole Power of Impeachment" (Article I, section 2)

It doesn't matter if Nadler is a partisan hack or has a brain the size of a water gnat. Articles of Impeachment are the sole domain of the Congress, therefore, the executive branch is obligated to turn over everything that Congress asks for. This is not an argument. To do anything less would be a violation of the Constitution. If Trump tries to defy an impeachment investigation any subpoenas will be expedited to the Supreme court and even if the four conservative partisan hacks that now sit on the court it's not likely that Roberts will allow this big of a breach of Constitutional norms.

Instead of blowing smoke out your ass you should try to understand the constitution you swore to defend. Right now it needs to be defended from the likes of you--where you seem to think that partisanship and lack of intelligence negate the application of its laws.

Without a big crime impeachment will register as partisan infighting.

The country doesn't ebt impeachment but Nadler accepted campaign money from Steyer on that basis. Cummings too.
If Nadler doesn't step up the impeachment action all those Congressional reps that got elected on impeachment grounds will go phooey come re election time.

Furthermore since impeachment don't pass the senate its a waste of time and money. Just a showboat Congressman capitalizing on their majority.

But I saw Nadler in some CNN B-Roll, walking down the hall in D.C. Maybe the Dirksen bldg.

The looks on the women's faces was telling. They looked nauseous.
maybe time to look in NAdler's past and see the white underbelly of his record. Nadler's Nads look soft white and doughy.

Nadler had no attendants, no pages, no colleagues, no lawyers in tow and no assistants. His belt buckle was as high between his breasts . He looked like that creepy boss you don't want to be in a room with.

Like many dingbat Congresspersons this term, Nadler may have a touch of Coney Flu.
Whst is Coney Flu? Making up stuff, arranging investigations without proof, allowing investigations with spurious and unverified collusion delusions, etc. The impeachment campaign is just a way to validate Congress invading any parts of Trump's business, family, world, staff, household, past associates lives and any associates emails and papers.

There is no there there. Nadler knows this. But he receives a mighty big lotn of attention during these "investigations" doesn't he?

Nixon didn't commit a "BIG" crime yet impeachment was almost certain. The Democrats haven't made a case yet and until that is done it is just speculation what the public will or won't do. Clinton was impeached for perjury because he lied, about having sex with that girl, Monica Lewinski. Mueller pointed out 10 areas of obstruction of justice all pertaining to his relationship with Putin and Mother Russia. Not to mention that Mueller didn't do any of the financials that Nadler is going to do. If you want to draw an equivalency there is a bit more than lying about getting a blow job while smoking a stogie in the Oval Office.

There will be no impeachment but there will be a lot damaging info coming out about Donald Trump. The Democrats don't need to impeach as Trump is doing a good job all by himself Blue wave in 2020
