That's what has to happen, these deniers need to be directly affected. Unfortunately, we don't have the time for that to happen to all of them. Sooner then we think Insurance companies will go bust and so will disaster relief. Then will really see a new reality.
Doesn't Obama have a home insurance plan?

Did you have to mix apples and oranges, jhf3
Remediating hazardous waste sites and Man Made CO2 emissions?
Ever here of educated idiots?
From one ignoramus to another!
BTW; There is no climate change crisis.
Do you remember when your ilk (Al Gore) went from Global Warming to Climate Change?

I have heard rumors that there are those who have been educated far beyond their intelligence. It would appear that some of those rumors are true. Climate change is a complicated subject, one which cannot be simplified to the effects of anthropogenic change, which is a small factor. Comparing climate change which can take centuries to a few decades of "data" is kind of short sighted.
Thanks; U got that right. It especially feels lonely when there's a bullying, evil-minded moron like Trump--and all the depraved people who support him--in our government.

Are U kidding? I'm a chemist & engineer (P.E. license in CA) with degrees in both and 28 years of Environmental Engineering experience. I learned about global warming ("the runaway greenhouse effect") in 1988. So I damn well ought to know a factually reliable climate change or other environmental source when I see one, and have verified MBFC's accuracy. I prefer the "Pro-Science" sources, but will quote sources with high factual accuracy, such as Vox, if convenient. I also always use as many of these tools as possible if there is any doubt about a source's veracity:
https://libguides.volstate.edu/evaluate/newsIn contrast, posters on this site quote factually inaccurate and/or pseudoscience sources---which are almost always secretly funded by fossil fuel companies or the Koch Brothers. As I'm reading most of these quotes, I wonder how people can be so stupid, but realize it's probably a result of deficient math and science education in the U.S.:

I’ve also worked with enough PhDs and scientists to know they’re really not much different than the next guy. You can call everyone else stupid all you want. That helps nothing because they’re not. You are only focussed on one aspect of climate changing and ironically, all the legislation in the world won’t stop it.

Yeah, it's all a joke to you---until you are affected by debilitating humidity & heat; drought or flooding; sea level rise; increasing ocean temperature & acidity; wildfires; increasingly intense storms; climate change-induced pests, diseases, crop failures, food shortages, & economic impacts. See
https://climate.nasa.gov/effects/. I learned about the U.S. Regional Effects in 2009, and in my (personal & work) travels, I have observed most of them firsthand. And call me a bleeding heart, but it pains me to think about the awful trauma that wildlife is having to endure because of human overpopulation & climate change.

The joke is thinking man can change the climate. Its oh so easy for the alarmists to pat each other on the back about how ‘intelligent’ they are. Meanwhile they forget about the ones who aren’t set financially, the many poor countries who had famines BEFORE all this started. The droughts and problems with food distribution before and NOW. What are the alarmists doing about it? Nothing. Plans to solve it? Another big goose egg.
There is no plan to take care of people now. What makes you think they will be taken care of later? Its not going to happen.

Actual human lives don't figure into the agendas of the left, unless they can weaponize their "plights" until they don't need them anymore (then they toss them away like broken toys).
Human life is as cheap to today's Democratic Party (Pelosi herself has used the term "collateral damage" when referring to victims of criminal illegals, for example) as it was to the likes of Lenin, Dzerzhinsky, Beria and Stalin.
It's all about their agenda, a totalitarian Socialist government that is eventually co-opted into a one world government.
The anthropogenic climate change lie is all about an accelerated acquisition of the power and control they need.
These people are pure evil.

Stupid is not acknowledging/accepting the facts. Trump's removing Climate change related rules is certainly making

...climate change worse, and his refusal to restrict fossil fuel emissions is not only accelerating it but is serving as an irresponsible example to developing countries. Are you resentful of those who are educated? Jeest, this is such a ridiculously close-minded, right-wing, scientifically illiterate forum. Definitely my last post. Revel in your ignorance.

Show me where I defended Trump. You are sounding like a zealot. Zealots think anyone who doesn't agree with them are automatically closed minded. That is indeed the pot calling the kettle black.
You sound more narrow minded than educated which isn't uncommon among those with graduate degrees.

Developing countries would love to have cars and trucks and aircraft and factories and a good life.
They already have donkeys and their own gardens, that's why they are "developing ".

Revel in your own ignorance. Most of the pollution you refer to comes from Asia. For instance the US produces barely 5% of the coal caused pollution. So Trump refusing to restrict our 5 whole percent is somehow responsible for the other 95%? You must be the product of a California ejamakashun.
