All the clap-trap the Democrat/socialists spew is just that. They don't care about any of these people. They are a tool to advance their agenda of "fundamentally transforming" America into another third world, banana republic police state. If the Democrat/socialists cared about these people they wouldn't be working with criminal cartels to enable them to break our laws and overwhelm our system.

I was saying something similar to my wife earlier today. What if we came home and found a strange family in our living room. What insane mindset is it that says we are now obligated to feed and house this family of burglars; we must take them to our doctor if they are ill and we must pay for their treatment and medication.

What unimaginable gall must it take to leave your home with no merchantable skill, no means of support, and demand housing, employment, health services and sustenance after breaking into a stranger's home.

I can 't decide who is crazier, the one making the presumptions or the home owner who complies meekly and obediently.

That homeowner would be the Squad. The Democrats are nuts.

It's even worse than that. These illegals MUST pay these criminal cartels anywhere from $300-$10,000 each for them to smuggle them across the border, or provide help on their trip here. Where are these "poor" people getting all this money, and material help, back-packs, food, water, and so on. This isn't spontaneous.

proud, You're ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! I feel the same! I'm sure that millions of Americans agree, but are afraid to say so, because, if you speak your Politically Incorec5 Mind, You're obviously a Biot!

For me the change came mush earlier. After John Kennedy was killed I lost all respect for the Democrats. Up until that time I voted mostly Democratic. Then the Democratic party change to the party against the average working person. There have been some times I voted for a Dem in a city or state election because they supported my thoughts. That has been a rare occurrence if at all since Carter if at all.

I have been a Constitutionalist for a long time. I never registered Democratic but started off an Independent. As I matured and saw things deeper and looked for more practical answers than the idealistic "people should..."; I changed to Libertarian. With examples like John MacCain, I never thought I'd become a Republican, despite become disillusioned by the Libertarian open borders platform. But when Trump declared his candidacy, I changed my party to Republican so I could vote for him in the primaries. Never regretted it! So I am registered Republican, but still identify as a Constitutionalist with conservative leanings.

I agree... Corporate welfare is equally disgusting... Although at least it is propping up jobs for some...

And I agree that many of the illegal are hardworking and 'necessary' to certain industries... But that was true of slaves as well... Laws need to be enforced or changed...

The opiod crisis is beyond horrid... Yet is the result of loopholes and blind spots in the law... Criminal dealers should not get a free pass because of it...

Enforcement of existing laws and penalizing those who employ illegals would make a huge difference

Friend Kyle, Hello,
Your last statement is so correct...punish the employers of illegals. Dalton, Georgia was a hot spot for carpet in the South. About once per year, the feds would hit a carpet company, haul off 50- to 75 illegals and fine the company $10,000. In the meantime, the company made $500,000 and maybe $1,000,000. They would pay the fine and start hiring illegals the next week, not to mention half or less of the cost of labor. Good response.

it is odd somewhat today's progressives fall more in line with what used to be held near and dear.yes we have terrorism, only its ingrown in the form of a Republican Party dictating its own new world order, well done. speaking of which I'm done here for a spell. it makes good entertainment sometimes though if one is into trolls via the trollway. enjoy your board albeit a place no one( especially me)cares to be. I know what trolls are( most don't know they are)more than most.those that call others one, for the most part are,it's part of their m.o. among other things. isn't it strange those who say go back and fix your problems are the same ones that caused them even if unaware that they have? I have evidence. if the chance came up how many would ask DJT to go home. or take the Orlando sentinel{ right wing as long as can remember}stand," anyone but trump " have a good day.

More in line with near and dear?????You must mean men peeing in women's restrooms, a month long celebration of homosexuality, open borders, high taxes, left wing terrorist groups ( antifa), rioting in the streets hidden behind black masks, no immigration laws whatsoever, no military, no world respect, poo on the sidewalks, drug addicts everywhere, pedophilia ( yes...if checks are not performed, child traffickers will have a hayday)....yes, those were the good ole days of the republican party.......NOT. Republicans have never held any of these crazy positions at all, much less near and dear.
You sure post a lot to not want to be here.

Chattanooga myself. Last time I was in Dalton, I was in a rock band playing for the Jaycees 4th of July celebration in 1986. When we asked how many people were there, we were told 10,000. That's my one claim to fame.
