This has been going on for a greater time than what President Trump has been in office. This started in late 1999 or early 2000. Not Trumps fault. There have been many involved with this problem from the very first. In 2000 we were in that situation, but it was not caused by any main problem in this country. We then regained our monetary advantage by hard work and perseverance. I was already in my sixties and had many ups and downs in business but proceeded to gain a more profitable life. Neither of us had any outlandish loans to pay. Even now, with a limited income we don't have a problem with staying afloat even with the rising cost of living. People have to be aggressive in their attempt to gain financial prosperity, not just sit back and say this is all we deserve.

Hillary Continuing Obama's Policies
Means The Economy
Would Have Stayed The Same As It Was Under Obama
Thinking Trump Would Need A Magic Wand
Is Because They Thought Obama's Policies Would Remain In Effect

All Trump Did Was Reverse And End Obama Policies
And Now Obama And Biden Are Trying To Take Credit
For What DIDN'T Happen Until They Were Gone

Yep
They Were Lucky We Missed A Hillary Presidency
But Look At Them Howl And Moan

You're right. People who live beyond their means do get what they deserve.
Life can be good without keeping up with the Jones's.

You’re quoting a Chinese person at Boston COLLEGE on 12000 Americans out of millions and your info came from the corrupt media. I didn’t read the entire thing because it’s so obviously an incomplete survey.

Oh good grief. Unfortunately there have been and most likely always will be people who struggle financially in America. When Obama was in office that number was greater, the divide between the rich and poor was greater as well. And what did Obama do? He told Americans to get used to 1% GDP, to accept the fact that "these jobs aren't coming back". His left-wing policies were designed to manage America's decline. Hating America isn't new for the Democrat/socialist Party, some of the young ones are just more open about their anti-Americanism. Even Obama's propaganda wing, (the laughably called mainstream media,) were forced to report that the Obama (non)recovery was the worst since the Great Depression. So President Trump hasn't fixed every problem in the U.S., do you suppose he may have fixed a good deal more of them without the constant, hate-filled, unhinged obstructionism by the Democrat/socialists, who denounced the same policies they promoted when Obama was in office? Of course things can always get better, the American dream, and experience has been children doing better than their parents, (except while Obama was in office, and again we were told those days were over.) The Democrat/socialists don't want ANYTHING in America to get better. How can you, (and why would anyone want to,) "fundamentally transform" a country that is doing well. The Democrat/socialist Party, their collaborators in the false narrative media and Hollywood, along with academia NEED America in decline, so they can push their failed every time it's been tried, (but THIS time, no really THIS time,) with them in charge of course, socialism will work. How ANY American who has benefitted from the individual liberty and freedom of speech, as well as all our other advantages could even consider such an aberration, (especially with the glaring example of Venezuela staring them in the face,) is mind-boggling.

US National Debt: real time. I hope you don't believe this debt suddenly appeared on Jan. 20, 2017.

This is not "trump's America", it is our America.

Since you guys keep giving Obama credit for the Trump economy, I would say this is all on Obama.

I worked with a guy who made exactly the same amount of money as I did. He was always broke and into me for money. Same job, same money, and he considered me to be rich.
He still owes me thousands dollars, but that was 40 some years ago.
Most people aren't wise with their money.

Anyone willing to pay 12% interest, let alone 18%, in this economy is out of their mind. It's not how much money you make, it's what you do with it that counts. Young people never learned what our grandparents taught us. You save for a rainy day.

You save to invest and grow your investments. I've been doing it since I was a child.
It's paid off in a wonderful retirement.

Exactly, I started saving money from my paper route when I was 12 years old. When I bought my first car I wanted a new 8-track tape deck installed but instead opted to continue using my AM/FM radio instead. Some people want the newest technology. That's fine if you have the money. I prefer for the manufacturing cost to drop before I buy. Look at how many people have garage sales to get rid of all the stuff they bought, and never used or didn't need. We throw money away right and left.

I'm reminded of the story about the guy sitting in the bar drinking beer and a woman approaches him and asked how much money he spends on beer each day at the bar. He replies that he has about two beers every day after work. She tells him that if he didn't spend all the money that he does on the beers, he could have bought a new Ferrari! He, in turn, asks her where her beer is and she says she doesn't drink beer. So he asks her, "Then where is your Ferrari?"
