Please tell me in what language our Declaration of Independence and Constitution are written.

They're both written in English. If you had ever read them you would know that. Here:

Then explain your resistance to English. Do you realize that in India, there is NO official language; there are many languages. The one language that ties communication together in India is English. Perhaps the people of India are smarter than you and others who try to discredit English.

Where did I say there was anything wrong with the use of English? I merely stated the fact that the United States has no official language, since you so erroneously stated it does. I then went on to point out that the Great State of Florida does, in fact, have an official language, and it is, in fact English.

I have no idea how the Indian people organize their communications. I do know that the influence of the British empire had a heavy hand in it's founding and thus am not surprised to find out that English is commonly used in a country of 1.4 billion people. I imagine Pakistan has a similar situation. Because of British interference in what was a peaceful region, there are now several countries fighting over a sparsely populated region called Cashmere. Perhaps you've heard of it?

Sure it was, and is. After all, America was British, and that heritage remains, like it or lump it. The revolutionaries were British too, you know. That's why I always smile when someone says Paul Revere yelled "The British are coming!", not likely, because they were all British. More likely he said "The regulars are coming", meaning regular soldiers.

The point is that there is no 'official' American language. There is no law establishing English or any other language as the official language of these United States. Most of us choose to use English. That's fine with me, it's the only language I know. Go to 'Little Havana' in Miami and look for an English speaker. Good luck with that. Go to 'Little Haiti' and try finding someone who doesn't speak Creole. These people are breaking no laws, and rightly so. I don't want government telling me what language to speak any more than I want them telling me what God to worship.

Okay, no mandate you have to speak English in public but it sure would help in business and official government documents. All tech support people should be a person in your own country though. I'd mandate that in a heartbeat.

Yes I remember going into a grocery store up here and asking where I could find a certain vegetable or where it was grown at I can't remember the exact question now but the guy working in the produce department only spoke Spanish. I stopped shopping there and haven't been back since. If the store likes to loose its customers that's there business I guess.

I'm getting older and maybe it's being around jet engines but I'm having more trouble now understanding Aussies, Brits, and the Irish too. But Gupta does chap my ears. Tried to correct an error on my credit score the other day and Gupta answered the phone. I immediately asked for an American rep. and enjoyed some elevator music for a few minutes. Getting older isn't for wimps, my advice is don't do it. I would have taken better care of myself if I knew I'd live this long. You would never believe how many boards I held while my dad cut them with a skill saw next to my head, way before the hearing and eye protection boom. Didn't know I was killing tiny hairs in my ears. Good thing I can hand sign a little. I might need it.

My Dad has a similar issue. He hears just fine with his hearing aids, but if there's background noise, or the speaker is going a little too fast, he can't catch it. I think it has more to do with the processing than with sensitivity in his ears. He's 84, so I guess it's just par for the course. They replaced both of his knees in the last few years, put stints in his carotid arteries, even gave him kemo for a lump in his chest. The guy's a regular walking cyborg...

Meh, he's a tough old bird. I still have both parents on the right side of the turf. Dad's 84 and Mom's 79. They're looking at their 60th anniversary next January.

Yeah. My Maternal Grandmother lived into her late eighties. The other three all died relatively young; one from brain cancer, one from stroke and one from lung cancer. My paternal Grandmother carried 16 babies, eleven survived to adulthood, several miscarried. Those were different times.

Kids, ppfftt, it isn't processing unless he is coming down with Alzheimer's. Hearing aids are improving all the time. I have trouble with the background noise too. I've started using a product called Youngevity. You can find it on the web or on Dr. Janda on YT. It did some amazing things for me but it's a tad expensive. I also have diabetes and kidney disease. I know why I have diabetes but the kidney disease is a mystery unless it was caused by diabetes. My feet were cracking and toenails were getting thick and hard to cut with clippers. Took the stuff and my feet turned blue-black for two days, then kept getting pinker in less than a month my feet are baby pink, no cracks, toenail fungus is gone and I'm feeling good. Check it out if you think it might help your dad. Tree tea oil will also cure toenail fungus. Naturopathy is the way to go.
