The Boston Bombing Web of Lies

In recent developments, United States Attorney General Eric Holder has announced that “federal authorities will seek the death penalty for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev if he is found guilty of the Boston Marathon bombing last April.” Below is a GR’s Julie Levesque’s analysis and selection of GR articles published in the immediate wake of the April 2013 bombings

As with many “terrorism” related events since 9/11, the Boston bombing official narrative proves to be a web of lies as important facts are revealed. It turns out that the FBI has lied about its knowledge of the alleged suspects, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, already being presented as guilty not only in the mainstream press but by the President himself.

According to the suspects’ mother, the FBI had been following them for years:

The FBI originally feigned ignorance over the identity of the two Boston bombing suspects, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, as they appealed to an unwitting public to help them “identify” and “find” the suspects. […]

Russia Today, in an article titled, “‘They were set up, FBI followed them for years’- Tsarnaevs’ mother to RT,” stated of the suspects’ mother:

But her biggest suspicion surrounding the case was the constant FBI surveillance she said her family was subjected to over the years. She is surprised that having been so stringent with the entire family, the FBI had no idea the sons were supposedly planning a terrorist act.

She would say of the FBI to Russia Today:

They used to come [to our] home, they used to talk to me…they were telling me that he [the older, 26-y/o Tamerlan] was really an extremist leader and that they were afraid of him. They told me whatever information he is getting, he gets from these extremist sites… they were controlling him, they were controlling his every step…and now they say that this is a terrorist act! Never ever is this true, my sons are innocent!

[…] The FBI would then be forced to concede that indeed it had interviewed the suspects, in 2011, two years before the Boston bombings. (Tony Cartalucci Boston Bombing Suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev Reported Killed, Was Alive When Detained: Tamerlan’s Aunt, Global Research, April 22, 2013.)

We were also told that Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed in an exchange of gunfire after he and his brother had robbed a 7-Eleven:

When the shootout ended, one of the suspects, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, a former boxer, had been shot and fatally wounded. He was wearing explosives, several law enforcement officials said. (Katharine Q. Seelye, William K. Rashbaum and Michael Cooper 2nd Bombing Suspect Caught After Frenzied Hunt Paralyzes Boston, The New York Times, April 19, 2013.)

With a bomb strapped to his chest, one of the Boston Marathon suspects was killed early Friday after he and his accomplice brother robbed a 7-Eleven, shot a police officer to death, carjacked an SUV and hurled explosives in an extraordinary firefight with law enforcement, authorities told NBC News. (Pete Williams, Richard Esposito, Michael Isikoff and Erin McClam, NBC News, One Boston Marathon suspect killed; second suspect, his brother, on loose after firefight, NBC News, April 19, 2013.)

The events surrounding Tamerlan’s death reported by the media are simply not true. It turns out that Tamerlan’ aunt identified him as a “naked, cuffed, clearly alive and well detainee seen in video aired by CNN”:

Every mother tells these stories about their children. We had a local teenager shot in a drive by and the mother went on and on about how her son was a good kid and never did anything wrong, and was a good student. This was in an impoverished neighborhood. The last line in the article was the body had $15,000, a semi-automatic pistol with the serial numbers filed off and half a kilo of coke on it.

You can't trust the stories of a mom. Oh, and the bombers were illegal aliens who overstayed their visas. Maybe that is why the FBI interviewed them.

Might want to actually read it and watch the video of the guy who was suppose to be dead standing there naked hand cuffed while the news crew rolled the story. The story was that he was killed in a shoot out and his younger brother ran him over getting away remember?

Patty,

Don't start another bogus conspiracy theory until we have beaten the Benghazi dead horse a bit longer. How stupid do you think we are?

I agree. Best you stay away from anything that might overwhelm you.

I checked the quoted source, global somethingoranother--just another Russian internet propaganda site with a list of 'articles' with anti-America story lines, info cited from RT, Russia Today.

The interesting thing about this Russian propaganda is the peculiar conspiracy story line so characteristic of right wing extremist postings on OPP. It occurs to me that the whole line of peculiarity conspiracy thinking we attribute to twisted RWE thinking may ultimately derive from a Russian propaganda operation intending to infiltrate the far right. Perhaps that's conspiracy thinking on my part, but it is strange that a Russian internet site would launch so obvious a conspiracy fantasy line. Then agent Pats posts it on OPP among her other Putin propaganda postings.

I had an experience in 1961 with the takeover of the U-Wis. SANE chapter by a unilateral nuclear disarmament group, a clear instance of dupes twisting a liberal cause (nuclear disarmament) to commie purpose, similars effort to manipulate civil rights movement to revolutionary ends with civil rights leaders very careful to hold that back, and later twisting of anti-Vietnam war protests toward violence, something I had no direct knowledge of except I knew a key member of the ADA organization as Troskyite at U-W years earlier. (Nice person, politics aside.)

Perhaps it's only to be expected that KGB Putin's New Russia would turn to use of right wing extremism 'causes' in its propaganda efforts in America. Irony if 'true patriots' are targeted as dupes by neo-fascist Russia today, like the libs of yesterday were targeted as dupes for communist Russia then. :? :-P

Well, again, perhaps I am over-suspicious in seeing parallels to past Russian twist propaganda operations in America, but it would perhaps explain the strange and unaccountable anti-America themes with some past RWE postings. Putin Russian propaganda operation rather obvious with the Pana/Capitalist/Patty line of postings the past two months when the Ukraine situation called for more frenzied efforts. Almost laughable to read through the 150 or so threads posted in the PCP operation.

I see, to be honest you haven't left an impression worth remembering. So I cant really comment on your effect one way or the other. Keep following and the odds are sooner or later there will be something posted you can understand.

I look and look and cannot see an image clear enough to convince me it is the same guy. His eyebrows are bushier. Some streaker gets arrested who has a passing resemblance to the guy. I think there are thousands of men in Boston who could pass as easily for the suspect at that video quality.

This is typical of terrorists groups. They try to create a fake narrative.

The big question is what would the Boston police or the FBI gain from claiming his death.

The video was taken live by CNN on the scene where they captured the eldest brother where the car chase had lead them. Did you listen to the eyewitness? There is no question of what he describes as the capture of the Eldest brother. It isn't even considered that the man in the video could possibly be anyone else.
