So where do you say it at? I've been in ultra-Conservative Texas for close to 40 years and never in business or pleasure have I had anyone stand up and say the pledge of allegiance...hell not even Cowboys games when I went religiously did we think to say the pledge of allegiance.
I have to ask, you mention standing up...are you confusing the pledge of allegiance we recited as children with our national anthem??? It seems the direction you are going. If that's the case our national anthem isn't a pledge so this whole thread is very confusing...
So where do you say it at? I've been in ultra-Cons... (

Wow how did you ever graduate High School?
or is it that you bought into the wrong philosophy?
It could be.... You know the Germans bought into Nazi Germany's philosophy.... that the left progressives are using. So it could be that you are buying into that totalitarian philosophy. That is the one of the progressives not the one of the Nazis. (Needed to clarify that)
But your comment is not surprising....
The true nature of America is to protect the minority for the sake of the idea.
We protect the accused in fear that we put an innocent man on trial for a crime he did not commit.
We protect the innocent.
We protect the weak amongst us.
We allow freedom of thought and ideas.
We do not and should not expel anyone. But we do. We need to stop it.
The loud mouths of the press make it sound like we still live in 1865. But we don't
Public opinion will sway with the wind. Facts will not. Neither will principles.
Your comment is an attack on the harassment you witness, which is very unfortunate.
As a person supporting both the pledge, and the oath, as well as the national anthem, we do not support harassment. Either you are guilty of a crime or you are not, and if proven by a court of law, and found guilty, then and only then are you punished, and not over punishment.
With every principle there is an element of pride. That pride brings forth peer pressure. That peer pressure is your harrassment. The people are not ready to give up and control their feelings and leave it for a court to decide. For We, the People, with all the wisdom we have, are not fully mature. That's just the raw the truth of it. For if we were mature, then the harassment that Obama and Trump have endured would not happen. But that is not the case, we are still a people that has not matured past the point of utilizing stupidity to decide.
But there is still hope for all of us.... that hope is the Constitution and the principles it holds true. If we stick to those principles, whether or not it is popular to do so, then we can never go wrong. If you must, I say, or stand, for the pledge, oath, and anthem for those who cannot or will not. Does that sound more to your liking.....
Kaepernick decided to kneel for the anthem. Protesting evils he saw in the system. That action is okay. But, kneeling is succumbing to the evils, where standing is fighting against the evils. If he began by kneeling then rose to stand it would have sent a message greater than the one that is being shown. For by kneeling he is oppressed, but by standing he overcomes the oppression. This is more the reason to stand than kneel.
We take a stand by saying the pledge, that we will never succumb to the evils of this world. By supporting the constitution we support the unified prudence and justice, that freedom demands. If you support the constitution and follow the rules, then the freedom that prudence demands is exercised. And if you support and defend the constitution then Prudence and Freedom are realized that Justice demands.
By denying the flag, the anthem, the pledge, and the oaths, you invite slavery in all its forms. You limit Prudence and Freedom and Justice shall never be done. Where's Obama's Justice? Where is Trump's Justice for all the misinformation and lies that were spread about both men and their administrations. Where's the prudence of the charges against each men? Why are they both limited their freedoms? And most importantly, the office of Government, let alone the presidency or the congress, or even the Supreme Court, is degraded to that of the office of gutter watch. This is why prudence in the cases that are popular today, is necessary. But that prudence needs freedom to conduct a wise and true investigation. Therefore, the demands of Justice shall be fulfilled.
This is why I agree, and stand with the principles of America. This is why the pledge is important. This is why the Constitution is more than just words placed upon a piece of paper. And I am proud that my fellow Americans Agree with me!
Right or wrong, we must find the truth and decide for ourselves. These principles help greatly. Do you know a better way?
