The following is a letter I am sending to Nike regarding Colin Kaepernick. A telephone # to contact them is 800-344-6453.
If you agree, I request that everyone consider joining me and contact the company.
Nike World Head Quarters
One Bowerman Drive
Beaverton, Oregon 97005
To whom it may concern:
I recommend that your company immediately cease all association with Colin Kaepernick. I had to really stretch my tolerance to accept his kneeling protests but what he did with the Betsy Ross flag insignia on your shoes was beyond anything acceptable. As pointed out by many, she was a true patriot and had no commitment to slavery. Her flag was a rallying point in our struggles for independence from The British Crown.
A child of privilege, Colin Kaepernick is an ungrateful, rabble rousing, publicity seeker. A has been, his premium quarterback skills were already eroding by the time he began his kneeling protests.
If he finds this country and its principles so offensive, he should go to another less offensive to his sensitivities. Maybe he can market his skills there but I doubt whether he’d find anything nearly as lucrative as an ordinary American job, let alone as a spokesman for a multi-national corporation.
I have purchased and used Nike products in the past but will not buy another while he remains a spokesman.
Thank you.
Funny how their sales and stock go up every time the MAGA crowd goes nuts

And funny how the anti-Trump forces always regard any display of patriotism as pro-Trump. So does that mean you and your anti-Trumpsters are un-American, moldyoldy? See, two can play this game.
But you and your liberals fellow travelers should all know about boycotts. You've advocated them against Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina and other states that failed to cowtow to your demands of abortion on demand and allowing men to use female bathrooms and other horrors.
And BTW, moldyoldy, I care about principles and Colin Kaepernick offends mine. I am sure that escapes you and your fellow sanctimonious leftist blowhards which I enjoy immensely.
