Ah, Y2K. Those were the days. I sat there at work one day towards Christmas, 1999 and had a thought, so I set the clock on my work computer to 12/31/1999 and 11:59PM just to see what happened when it rolled over. As expected, nothing happened, it just continued on into Y2K. Yawn.

Yup that was our last lab!.. and exactly!!. Nothing Happened!.. Imagine that!.. so NOT surprised! Yawn is right!

Well, I knew that bright deal shining off up in the way yonder, was a most generally hot.

Not too much when it wasn't there, but when it come back it sure was.

That is NOT a socialist country, it is a quasi republic that uses typical communist criminality, whereby all the countries wealth is funneled into the personal bank accounts of the elite.

It isn't what one officially calls oneself that establishes identity.............it's one's behavior that tells the truth.

BTW, the soviet union was not a communist State...............it was a criminal enterprise..................just as Russia and China are today.

You're correct, and all are under a form of authoritarian rule which are dictating their form of socialism.

What does a silly meme (from facebook, no less) about food stamps have to do with criminal illegal alien activity? Deflecting much? And yes, they do add up, just like any other criminal activities, they are cumulative. As for how much the Trump family has cost 'us' (just who is 'us'?), don't you worry your empty head about it. He has paid more into the Federal coffers over the years than you could make in a hundred lifetimes.

Is it not true that one of the most bitter complaints of the right wing is that illegals get food stamps and you just hate when that happens..

So it seems indeed to be on topic.. or are you OK with food stamp program?

"US" is we, those who pay taxes..

Orange criminal who does not pay taxes, pays more then i would in a hundred lifetimes???

No, that is very untrue..

And I like many on OPP have given more in my life time then that useless POS from the shallow end of the gene pool has ever given..

He cares nothing about our nation. demonstrated by his throwing away our leadership position we as a nation worked so hard to live up to..

He is such a scum bag, he will not even help those dumb enough to vote for him and sit him in our white house..

That’s precisely what you liberals have done with the statue. Tell a lie often enough, as it’s said.... good Lord.

No different than what y’all do with the Constitution....

Tell me.... in the early days of immigration, did people arrive at Liberty Island, or Ellis Island?

most of my granny people came via Ellis island, but at least one came via Canada and some border crossing..

Only the few feel the Constitution remains the origin of the right wing hate and lies..

I do not, they invented that policy on their own.. with help from people like McConnell and Cheney.

To show the sexist pig inside my head.

This is pointless. Your comments are making less and less sense and are not coherent enough to be responded to. Just admit it. You don't know anything but that you hate Trump and would rather see the country fold than have another term of Trump. That should just about do it.

So, you admit you know nothing.. that is the first step to recovery..

It's just so ridiculous. The social Security fund is nothing but a pile of Treasury IOUs. It's like moving money from one pocket to the other, spending it, and putting an IOU in your pocket in its place, then counting it as cash. Ron Paul railed about this the whole time he was in Congress. Nobody paid any attention.

You seem to be looking for someone to blame, Ronald Reagan comes to mine in a flash..

Look it up..

Drought in India has resulted in tens of millions of deaths over the course of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Droughts have periodically led to major Indian famines, including the Bengal famine of 1770, in which up to one third of the population in affected areas died; the 1876–1877 famine, in which over five million people died; and the 1899 famine, in which over 4.5 million died. This is nothing new nor is it relate to any made made CO2 emissions. Syrian drought is the worst in 900 years, which means that 900 years ago they had a worse one whihc means it wasn't caused by man's CO2 Emission. As for Pakistan, it's weather is much like India and their history of bad droughts and flash floods goes back hundreds of years, before there even were significant CO2 emissions.

In other words, this is nothing new, it is just being hyped up to bolster the climate change alarmists "sky is falling" scenario's.

Wow, you will go to nearly any straw pile to avoid responding to the problem which we have here and now..

did you miss the part about the Green Revolution grains which were dealing with this world problem starting in the 70s??

the role of CO2 is not even in contention except by the orange crowd.. and even your stupid orange con man has now admitted that "something" is going on.

what a bunch of pointless thinking..

While you are on the verge of championing coal, now with the death of the richest coal mine owner, the cash flow to the orange POS may slow a bit..

Do you think to love for coal by the orange dip will now wane a bit?

Oh my a woman with a brain! Been there once, just passing through 19 degrees and it felt fine seeing how it was 19 below when I left northern Maine. I remember as a kid snow being so deep it was over my fathers head and below zero was normal during the winter months. Today it very rarely goes below zero.

Lord.... yes the record all time hot for Fairbanks is in the 90 degree range.

It was set about 2 years ago..

More relevant is the winter temps.. heat over Greenland area is what dislodged the vortex and crated the cold in record style over the Continental US..

Let us not divert this thread to CC topic, we can make that another long thread..
