Lyrics for my latest song.
These are the lyrics to my most recent song.
I WONDERED IF SOME HOW I MIGHT BE DREAMING
I wondered if somehow I might be dreaming,
When I lingered there & thought I saw you smile.
I feared it might be only seeming,
That we could last much longer than a while.
I know that you’re afraid of stormy weather,
And I’ll wait with you until the clouds are gone.
I’ll stay for us to face the storm together,
I’ll hold your hand and protect you from the harm.
CHORUS
When the sun is dawning,
And the sky is bright,
No more danger warning,
We’ll know our love has helped us through the night.
I know that when the day arrives tomorrow,
We’ll see the rainbow’s arc for you & me.
Clear skies will help to clear away our sorrow,
We’ll know we are Ok, you wait & see.
And when the evening comes we won’t be dreaming,
We’ll laugh & then the both of us will smile.
We’ll know no matter how things were seeming,
We lasted so much longer than a while.

Love that! Is that an ode to AMERICA? The last two lines seem to be.

Not really. They weren't really meant as an ode to this country but I you want to take them that way, I have no problem with it.

Thank you.
I finally figured out about fifteen years ago that I was created for music. I guess it shows.

It shows! Thanx for sharing this. It’s definitely better than most things I’ve seen, heard and read today.

I read it again and I’m sure it was a love song. Let us know when it’s available on CD.
