Arche, what happened with the dog, Buddy?

Haven't seen him for about a week. We got him wormed, and other people were feeding him, and trying to catch him too. Last I saw of him was about this time last week about a 1/2 mile away running around with 3 or 4 other dogs whose owners let out to roam the country in the morning. He looked good. Tail up, weight gained, and slicking off.
He may still be around, only incognito. We're gone all day, and over the past couple of weeks our dogs started getting out. First, by digging under, then going over the chain link fence. We're wondering if he's coming around while we're gone, and ours are escaping to see him, or, whatever.

do not know if we have that wild carrot up here,, must have, we have everyother weed that ever grew..

I got into wild plants a few years ago, because of an article on Giant Hogweed, which is an import from Asia and is the plant from hell. I am very familiar with poison ivy, and learned the hard way how to identify it. There are many other dangerous plants that outdoors people need to know about.

Anyway, one thing lead to another, and in learning about dangerous plants I learned that a lot of the weeds I never noticed before are wild carrot, which is not dangerous. I decided to collect the seed heads which are everywhere in late summer and see if I can cultivate them. I figured if they can grow on the poor soil where I have observed them, they would love the good soil of my garden. I don't know if I will get much in the way of edible product, but they sure are growing like hell. I've had to cut them back in certain areas where they were smothering my tomato plants.

That is your garden lesson for today.

Since we no longer own a TV, no I did not see it. Over the last few years (over 20 years ago) that we had a TV we used it only to keep the dogs quiet when we were working with only one of them. Now we play music for the dogs, and they prefer that, particularly when it is classical music, and full orchestra. Except for the Staffordshire Bull terrier prefers old recordings of the Dr. Demento show, so he and NPP listen to it together.

What's an opinion? Maybe there's a misunderstanding. Principles are, for example, that Rights as understood by the founding fathers are inviolate, sacred, etc. When people see them as arbitrary, relative, malleable etc., then they're just privileges not Rights.

It's not some cosmic coincidence that God is on American coinage and paper currency. It's there to remind us that we humans don't grant real permanent Rights - only a higher power can do that. And you don't have to believe in God - just consider God to be the archetype of what's greater than all of us. Those things we don't want our corrupt congress critters taking from us go into the God bucket that they're not allowed to touch.

No less than a great man, John Kennedy explained this well.

Don't forget as well that the appointment of Commander In Chief is conditional in the Constitution ("....when called into service by the congress..."), whereas the 2nd Amendment is not conditional - the militia always exists, for the simple reason that the People must have the ability to use force when necessary. i.e., "When a long series of abuses and usurpations evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism."

The Declaration of Independence is not legally superior to the Constitution, but then, revolution is never legal anyway. But the Declaration does discern between "legal" and Right, as any child should learn in first grade.

OK? so your long talk of principles shows your point is that trump and the republican party and hell bent to have right only for their fellow republicans and sink the middle class and any minority in existence.
and this is a right to their minds because of the principles they have passed down to the fellow rich guys..

These "leaders" of BLM can be seen in videos leading meetings calling for the murder of police. If our so-called leaders weren't such cowards, these BLM principals would be locked up.

Baltimore and Freddie Gray are perfect examples. The prosecutor and mayor were knowingly and falsely prosecuting several cops for "brave heart murder" of Freddie Grey, and subsequently the judge not only exonerated them, he lambasted the mayor and prosecutor for their actions.

I'll bet very few people understand how racist the officials are in California. Two years, 1992 and 1994, four trials, opposite 12-0 verdicts in those 4 trials, all decided by the race of the juries compared to the defendants. Why? Fear that certain members of the public might riot and ruin their beach blanket bingo.

I am not sure, are you opposed to free speech of only the minorities??

I can not speak for California and they nicely speck for themselves.. last time i was at Pendelton was decades ago and have never toured the state..

The middle class did badly under Obama. The rich got richer, the poor got more free stuff and the middle class went backwards. The gap between the rich and the poor and the middle widened under Obama.

Gee son,,, ask... why did the middle class struggle so hard while President Obama was in office?

When did the event which forced the down turn happen??

It will be the same with whoever follows trump,, have to repair and survive the damage caused by his wretched actions..

We have litigated the down turn many times, but if you wish I will educate you once more. That down turn was Heaven sent for Obama, with out it he would never have been elected. Obama can thank Barney more than any other person on Planet Earth for his Presidency. Barney rolled the dice, blocked Bush from popping the real estate bubble while there was still time, and walked away.

If you knew your American history you would recall other downturns where if the right man was in charge, the economy came roaring back. Then you had the times when the wrong men were President and the economy limped along forever. Besides Obama's limping economy, you had Hoover-Roosevelt and the Great Depression for bad examples.

For examples of economies roaring back from down turns, you first of course had Reagan in the early 80s. However, the shining example of a man who knew how to turn around a horrible recession is Warren Harding. Nobody remembers it because he made it look easy. Coming out of WW1 America had a severe recession. During the war American agriculture and industry ran flat out. After the war demand crashed.

Harding following Conservative principals allowed a one and a half year recession, and after that we had the famous roaring twenties.

The skull is reminiscent of failed Socialist (i.e. Leftist) regimes of the 20th century, who murdered over 100 million people. Socialism == "free money", i.e. theft at the point of a gun. You know it, and we know that you know it.

what about the above post did you find abusive.. I saw no such thing.. What I saw was an example of "down turns" throughout history.. maybe a thicker skin is in order..especially if you are talking politics of ANY kind.. even the historical kind.. Just a thought.
