The biggest problem is that conservatives, like myself, are no longer conservative. We made a promise. The Contract With America said we would propose only balanced budgets and propose a balanced budget amendment. Not only have we failed to do either, even when we controlled both houses, this year WE have proposed the single largest budget deficit in history. There is nothing conservative about deficit spending.

Conservatives believe in limited central gov.’t. WE proposed control over state militias. WE proposed controlling local law enforcement by restricting funding to those who do not cooperate. WE proposed unconstitutionally linking the FBI and CIA and for the first time in our history put our local law enforcement under them and our immigration officials. Defying The Constitution is not conservative.

Conservatives believe in freedom of religion, but WE propose enforcing our religious convictions on everyone (this is about to bite us in the bottom). It is not reasonable to legislate the morality of abortion. Restricting religious freedom, including freedom from the religious, is not conservative.

Conservatives believe in free Enterprise. WE have proposed nearly ALL corporate welfare, which under OUR leadership has grown to more than TEN TIMES our social welfare budget. There is nothing conservative about business dependent upon (controlled by) the gov.’t.

Finally, conservatives believe in getting a fair return on our investments. WE propose continued and expanded warfare costing us trillions YEARLY! What have we gained since the capture of Bin Laden? If our new wall were 100% effective, the administration's own immigration and justice officials admit will only solve 15% of our problems (85% of illegals enter legally and over stay, 85% of drugs enter our country through legal points of entry or are made in The U.S.A.). There is nothing conservative about throwing money at a problem.

There are really no conservatives OR liberals anymore..................there are only those who claim to be one or the other.......................in order to establish which team they're on and who they're fighting with.

It is no longer so much what we're for, but what we're against. Republicans are keen eyed deficit hawks..........when the other side is in control. Democrats are vigilant personal liberty protectors.................when the other side is in control.

America will not recover from it's decades long psychotic break, until they decide to abandon the "us against them" soap opera.................realizing that their former enemies....................are Americans too.

Like I said in another post; words like conservative and liberal are meaningless these days.

"Conservatives" have been growing government and contributing greatly to immigration problems and many others by not fixing them...intentionally. A lot of those we consider conservative...who refer to themselves as conservative are in fact globalist to the core and take their orders from the Rothschild Cabal just like ANTIFA.

Time to throw away the old terminology. The Rothschild Cabal is at war with the rest of us and war is what they have to have or they lose their power.

Bush set the stage and Klinton was to be the finisher. Make no mistake, if Trump had not won the hag would have already had us boot-on-the-ground beginning WWIII with Russia in Syria.

To borrow from Job, we escaped by the "skin of our teeth." Trump's very name makes me appreciate God's timing.

A person does not have to be conservative or liberal to know something has been very wrong or understand the truth...we've been governed by fking criminals in high places since Bush 1 and Trump's election means it will be exposed...hence the off-the-chain attempt to unseat him before that happens.

Obama and Klinton got help from a lot of foreign intelligence agencies to spy on Americans as far back as 2008 and among other things, the failed attempt to frame Trump for what everyone knows Klinton was doing. The cash flow is irrefutable proof and it will come up in a court of law.

We humiliated the "conservatives" chosen candidate. What did he get...3%?

If he had won it would have been the same as if Klinton had won...we'd be boots-on-the-ground in Syria leading the charge to WWIII.

Trump bought us time but that's still the plan.

Most of what you say is pure BS by a Trump hater. But the last paragraph is really a outright lie, or simply applies in an earlier time. For the past 2 1/2 years the illegal crossing have became more predominate than at any other time in our history, with no ability to return those here illegally to their home countries. That is the problem caused by the Democratic party and their far out left wing progressive agenda, now promoted by the Democratic party. They want open borders to help destroy this country. They don't care about what the American public has to say about the immigration problem. All they care about is the return of their power structure to have total control.

I can not agree with you Louie,,,

Seems this is pretty good assessment, while being only generally.. of course it does not fit all.

The last paragraph, It think it is very accurate..

the rate of illegal crossing has been going down for near 20 years.. why the big surge now?

I am not sure, but will not agree that it is caused in anyway by Democrats..

You may have noticed that I am a bit liberal and will vote Democrat for the remainder of my life..

Never have i had a conversation with anyone who is for open borders, never have I listened to a speech or dialog by someone promoting open borders..

About a year ago or so, I posted an article called "16 points for open borders" or near that..
I expected to start a week long tirade of rants..

Instead, i got a total of two replies, and neither was any sort of outrage right or left.. nothing else.
It seemed then that no one on OPP gave a hoot about open borders.. so why would any of us change?
